Please, BestViewed, how am I playing "semantic games"? What if I lie and say that I saw a video of thousands of Muslims in the United States chopping off heads of people? Obviously this DOES happen around the world, but it just because it does happen doesn't make my lie not a lie. What's sad is that you don't give truthfully give a damn about lying as long as it plays into your narrative.

 

I am stating unequivocally that Trump's claim remains unsupported tripe, and the alleged proof provided did not support what he said.

The big deal is that Trump wasn't being truthful about a religious group. That is a very big deal. And very damaging to a country when you float around fairy tales about a group like this. He is definitely light years away from being a Commader- in-chief. He doesn't have enough horse sense for the job.

Trump did not see celebrations by thousands in this country, because they didn't happen, nor is there any proof that they did.

I've heard reports of two articles in the newspapers - one in the Washington Post, the other in they NY Post. I haven't seen them either, but if they're still around (and why wouldn't they be?), I'd love to see them.
