I really can't understand the level of ignorance that the right wing constantly displays. It's ****ing basic civics. REPUBLICANS OWN BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS, AND THE PRESIDENCY. Democrats can do NOTHING to shut down the government.

That's not entirely true, there are numerous procedural methods to require a 60 vote threshold in the Senate. There is the possibility of a filibuster or other games liberals will play...

Sorry Rahl, but the Republicans aren't a hive mind. Some may not vote the way you'd like them too and you might need to compromise and work a deal with the other side.

You can keep claiming otherwise, but people know DACA is Democrat, and they've read and heard that Democrats are digging in for a fight over DACA. If Government shuts down, and DACA is involved...Democrats will suffer for it.

so again, it's the republicans incompetency that will shut down the government. Democrats can literally do nothing to stop you from passing the budget. That isn't going to stop being true.

That doesn't change the point that the GOP is in full control of Congress and the White House. So it will be the Democrats' fault that the GOP can't lead their party?

The shutdown and any subsequent ramifications will be hung around the neck of the Republicans in the 2018 election.

The Democrats haven't shown any inclination to filibuster.

They probably should take a page from the Republican's book and present a list of demands.

Of course they can by not working with the other side who might need some votes to fill in for the ones who voted against......

If they present a list of demand perhaps Republicans will completely ignore them, if only to highlight their utter impotence, as you claim they must be...

If the GOP won't propose something that'll attract democratic votes then that's on them

DACA is, sure. But DACA was always a waste of time. Do you deny that the republicans own the entire government?

    Wrong

If democratics vote against the budget they are voting for a government shutdown

    No

Republicans will vote to keep the government running while democratics vote to shut it down

Of course the lying liberal media will spin it the way you did and many people will agree

But they dont control all the information reaching the public anymore

I was under the impression that Democrats didn't want a deal so that they could kill DACA while pretending it's the Republican's fault for being racist. :)

Not at all. All 3branches are controlled atm by the GOP, but as you've seen already with Health Care for instance....that doesn't guarantee everyone is on the same page. You might need some votes from the other side, and Trump is offering to work with them. Theres things they want, and things he wants in return.

This has been covered, and people know it...so if Government shuts down due to DACA, IMO the people will know it was the Democrats playing games.

I think this would be the first govt shutdown when the same party controls both the Presidency and both houses of Congress.

    Way to go Republicans.

I don't see this as a Partisan issue where I can lay blame on either side. They are all abhorrent abject failures and DACA is a stupid media attention grabbing distraction from the real issue.

That issue being real comprehensive reform of the immigration process and all of the " qualifiers" for applying and obtaining along with the quotas for Greencards the first step in the naturalization process. It's the most eye bleeding text you can subject yourself too. Intentionally created to not work.

So Yall keep pointing fingers its amusing.

Truth be told I don' t think but 1 in 10 in Congress care about our country at all. All the same

Which they can do. Like I said, the Republicans have a majority in the Senate. If the continuing resolution doesn't pass, it's on them.
