What will happen to you when the IG says trump was not spied upon, that none of the top investigators were motivated by political bias, and that the investigation was legally justified?

The whistle blower in going to have to testify, provide his passport, and acknowledge if he met with Rienzi on Joe Biden's request.

Here are two reasons to work with Schiff.

    1) The 52 GOP members are not going to be united enough to reach a simple majority vote, and the VP is disallowed for acting as a tiebreaker.

    2) if you do not get a rules package passed by a simple majority, then every individual rule will be put to a vote and that sort of piecemeal rules process will be an absurd headache.

One dem rep has now signaled he won't vote for impeachment unless he sees something more. That means the dem vote will not be unanimous and the only bipartisan vote will be against. Again.

Well except for the fact that the WB spoke to them before entering the complaint, Schiff is a fact witness.

The "toss me in the briar patch" talking point reeks of desperation.

What reeks of desperation is a dem rep claiming that they can't wait to do it right because they can't let the election decide who is President.

    Republicans: Democrats need more evidence.

Also Republicans: You cant have more evidence.

Kinda weird to watch the radically pro-abortion Speaker of the House attempt to indignantly wrap herself in Catholicism.

Zero voted for the investigation and that was a bipartisan vote. Don't expect that to change.

Immunity for the Ukraine complaint doesn't extinguish the kickbacks from Naftogaz.

This also involves Obama, so hold on while Tom Cotton compiles a strong fact pattern.

Schiff has at least two staffers that are also knee deep in this.

We will see! My money is on McConnell.
McConnell said that if he and Schumer fail to reach a deal and there aren’t 51 Republican votes for a rules package then there would be a freewheeling series of votes on various motions, ranging from the management of floor time to summoning witnesses.

“My assumption is once you heard the arguments on both sides, motions would be made. My suspicion is the chief justice would not want to rule on those. He would submit them to the Senate, and 51 of us would decide on a case-by-case basis how to go forward,” McConnell said.

Try again. It was a vote on whether to hold the impeachment inquiry...not about the open hearings. They voted 232-196 along partisan lines.

And so far there isn't. If Dems want those witnesses and documents then they need to challenge Trump in Court to say that executive privilege does not apply in this case.. That is normally the way it is done and why our last two impeachments in this country lasted FAR longer than what this is.

Blatant lie here. Not one single witness said that they "heard it straight from the President's mouth". Not one. It was all based on opinions and presumptions.

Yeah...right when Trump was scheduled a long time ago to be at a NATO meeting. No doubt if he had stayed the Dems would have hollered at him for dereliction of duty.

Again, go to the courts. Dems are making this the shortest impeachment inquiry in history. That is a fact.

Here's the quote that leads me to expect it will change.

But Francis Rooney says he merely considered that vote procedural, not substantive.

“I’m not going to show my hand on impeachment until we get all the facts out there," he said, insisting that he's not the only House Republican who decided to hold their fire till a later date. “There are a lot of Republicans who feel varying levels of disquiet at the idea of using American foreign policy power to gin up domestic political investigations."

First hand knowledge? Every one of them? You're joking right? Because that is pure BS. Some of those witnesses have never even MET Trump, much less witnessed anything first hand from him.
