Google OPEC. Big Oil likes thrives on reducing the supply to hike the price.

    And here's some recent developments:

The UN is annoyed that the Red Cross emblem is being used for political reasons by the protesters.

The EU has stated it is against military intervention in Venezuela.

But how can they reduce the supply of Venezuelan oil without taking control or sanctioning it? Besides hiking the price of oil is bad for our economy - I mean come on, we have a lot of cars. When people make no sense you know it's called 'nonsense'.

Putin has to know far more than we do about Maduro. He may have concluded that Russia did not have the resources to save the fool from his won folly.

You are missing my point. I understand supply and demand. You are acting as if oil companies aren't wanting the VZ oil fields though. They most definitely do. It gives them more control of the supply and demand.

Maduro(or whoever is in charge) is just window dressing. It seems to me that Putin would want control of VZ. It's odd that he is just letting the U.S. go in there and oust him. I have a suspicion that this whole thing in some way benefits Putin as well.

Since Putin can't do anything about it, it benefits him to not get in too deep.

Vladimir Putin works diplomatically with the elected leaders of other nations so as to foster trade that would benefit both - and that's how it should be. The term 'prop them up' is purely an American projection. It reflects Washington's own actions towards those heads of states, who are not willing to sell their country for Washington and their own pockets - (under the ideological guise of a liberal new world order of course).

Russia's covert action is limited to exposing our actions and propaganda with recordings, videos, etc. Believe me it they don't need any more, we give them enough fodder.

Dictators tend to surround themselves with sycophants. Some of them wait too long to leave. Your video just proves that the jig is up for Maduro.
The US Deep State has been eager for another Big Project since Obama and then Trump started withdrawing troops around the world.
    Maduro is It.

I think you are partly right, although I believe Putin could do something. The cost/benefit equation just can't be justified.

There you go again - confusing what is good for Big Oil with what is good for the American economy.
Production has been reduced under Chavez and Maduro - that is very good for Big Oil. See OPEC for how that works. Gas was starting to sell for less than $2.00 in parts of the US when this final push to remove Maduro began - now it's back up. ;-)

Read my posts again. Of course they intend to "eventually" regain control of VZ production, but until then zero production from VZ would be the perfect number for Big Oil.

And I'm telling you there will be no hesitation by oil companies. As soon as they can attain control they will do just that.

It's called The Art of the Deal. The collapse of the VZ economy made Maduro a sitting duck for Trump.
Putin and Xi learned the hard way that anti-capitalism has always been an epic fail. How much did Russia waste propping up Castro?

A ruling political class is always sept of thieves, especially when that class follows the Big Government model, and they all do that now. Surely you know that.

You seemed to insinuate companies are waiting to take control of VZ's oil. I am saying they aren't waiting on anything but the opportunity. Other than that point we do agree.

You have to look at Russia and China as competitors. They don't play dirty though, we do. Also neither Russia or China want to be hegemons. Too many problems as we can see with the extent Washington will go to retain their hegemony. What Putin wants though, and as he said many times, is to turn the world into a multipolar one rather than a unipolar one. This is understandable if you look at all the destruction we've caused.

Let's look at the obvious. Washington doesn't want Russia and China in Venezuela.

Without question this is true. And to your other statement, I understand Russia and China are not "BFF's".
