Look at it this way from my perspective currently 91.9% of people are employed that is up from when he took office it was under 90% so jobs did actually improve consistantly over the last 30 months. It may take time.

And I need the Affordable Care Act so will vote just to keep him in office, he gets reelected the debate and fight over "Obamacare" is over.

I heard every word of Obama's speech last night and not once did he say he'll do anything differently to help the middle class if he's re-elected. In fact, parts of it were the same speech he gave in 2008.

So there, ya go, Obama supporters. Again I ask.. why is it so important to you that Barack Obama is re-elected if it means more suffering for America's middle class?

Is party really more important to you than country?

Party is the way that we believe we can best help our country. Kinda like you voting for Bush the second time around. You couldn't have been super pleased with his performance, but you believed that your party was the one that would serve the nation the best.

No, actually I was voting for Bush the man. Not Bush the politician.

Just the opposite of those who are blinded by light of Obama the politician.

So,you were for SMW before you were against her?OMG-Who else does that remind you of?
The fact is here.-the GOP so desimated our country there was only one entity in which to bale our Arses out-OUR GOVERNMENT-if not for our Government (OBAMA)being the head of, SMW,& you ,along with the rest of the entire USA would be suffering a whole lot worse-your opinion is OBAMA is ruining our economy-fact is it was on it's way to total oblivian before OBAMA ever entered the White House-he has helped us leaps & bounds-That is my opinion along with it being a fact.
You & SMW are trying so very hard to set up a strawman defense-fine,you two go argue with yourselves-in the meantime the rest of us will keep moving forward & celebrating our accomplishments one day at a time. OBAMA 2012

You seem threatened by the two of us; rest assured there are many more on 'our side.'

The Middle Class was waiting to see what Obama had to offer in his speech last night. Something good enough to make them forget about $3.80 gal gasoline and $5 lb ground beef. They got nothing. Do you really think hard-working Americans are going to watch their paychecks shrink for 4 more years just because Obama 'deserves' another chance?

Only hardcore Obamabots are supporting Barack now. And they couldn't care less about the suffering of the middle class.

    Obviously.

THE Best response to all this Obama Big Speech Thursday night was today on
the Mike Gallagher Radio Show.He had RNC chair Reince Priebus on.Reince is pretty
good at tearing apart Democrat Talking Pts. and whatever daily scuttlebut they conjure-up
    on the fly.
Reince said something about as True and simple as the way I was brought up.
Reince wanted all those listeners in Wisconsin and Kansas,Ohio,Indiana and
Minnesotta to realize a very simple truth. That Obama is NOT a man of his word.
That those in the North-northwest take one at his word,VERY seriously. In fact they
live by the simple motto,a man's word is his bond.A man pledges to do something,
he has to live by it. I haven't heard that in years.
I thought about that today as I took a quickie nap this afternoon.
That in fact, that was a huge part of the way I was brought up.You say something
in dire seriousness and make a pledge, then by golly you best live by it.
Words, especially Pledges mean Something. It used to be the Guiding Light that
grown ups in my childhood, used as a benchmark for being credible and respected.
Where has that novel idea gone.

Actually, 92.2% were employed when Obama took office. We have had the longest run of 8%+ unemployment in 70 years under Obama.

again... you seem to disregard the fact that parties have platforms and philosophies. The two major parties may not completely encapsulate the totality of American political thought, but they are what we have to work with. My personal belief system is much more closely aligned with the platform that Obama is running on, than the one that Romney is running on. I am blinded by nothing, but I, personally, shudder to imagine Mitt Romney as our president appointing the next three SCOTUS justices. Obama has my vote for that reason, if for no other.

See,there you go again, trying to set up that strawman.
Here's how I see your reaction to the Democratic Convention-You went in with a closed mind-you expected lies like the GOP Convention-what you got instead were real people, real issues, real progress, real support for our POTUS- positive-positive-positive & not one lie mind you-sooo,the only thing you can do is come back to the forum & start up the same old whining GOPBAGGIN rhetoric-
Now here's what I saw at the Democratic Convention; Tammy Duckworth,a war hero, that lost both her legs defending our country telling us why she would do it again.
The Lign family whose daughter was born with half a heart & without OBAMACARE their insurance company would have denied them coverage because of a pre-existing condition & then their daughter because of two surgeries before the age of 3 months was rapidly approaching her lifetime cap-because of OBAMACARE this child has a fighting chance.AWESOME
The reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance by Gabby Giffords-to see her remarkable recovery from a senseless shooting was just plain AWESOME
The Nun from the Nun's on the bus tour was just plain heartwarming & sincere.
The miriad of people speaking out on how OBAMA saved their livihoods by rescuing the Auto industry--Grateful & full of HOPE
The honesty of the POTUS telling us we are on our way to creating a better future-but we still have work to do-no lies-no rhetoric-laying out his plan for the future-INSPIRING
Seeing the difference from the GOP convention where all the applause was against OBAMA,but not for Romney opposed to the Democratic Convention where the applause was for OBAMA & support for OBAMA-INCREDIBLE ELECTRICITY
I could go on & on,but I think you get my point.
And I do disagree with you-there are more people out there with an attitude for forward thinking than your hateful, synical negativity------- OBAMA 2012

I would have to agree with you. President Obama is harmful to the people in the lower income brackets. But the people in the lower income brackets will support President Obama over Romney because they believe the Republicans won't make anything better for them. The Republicans cling to the "trickle down" theory which won't work in an economy where the factories are in China and the Republicans cling to their "law and order" crowd which will only send more police to the poor neighborhoods to make life worse for the people in the lower income brackets.

The Democrats are not friends of the poor people. President Obama and the Democrats said they were for the American people and said they believed in us and then they went on to say that we all needed more schooling because we were basically too stupid to compete on a global scale. This is not what a friend tells you. However, at least the Democrats will not reward the outsourcers (communist defectors) and send the police out to harass the poor people.

Untlil the Republicans can let go of their "law and order" crowd and let go of "trickle down" there is no reason for anyone in the lower income brackets to vote for a Republican. It is better to live under a government that insults you and then leaves you alone then it is to live under a government that actively hates you.

I really can't alow such ramblng disjointed response.I really couldn't say if questioned
what yer point was other than Obama surrogates at HIS Convention { Make no Mistake this
WAS Obama's Convention, lock, stock and barrel } were carrying his water.
All well and good.To be expected. But to use every opportunity to have surrogates
basically shill for Obama, not with Facts on Obama's success, but rather rank ridiculous
rhetoric that does nothing to take this Country FORWARD,only divides us further,
is paramount. There is no debating that Obama has succedded in one area,.
That being to divide this country by groups. The better for him to pounce on every
opportunity to exploit and make promises and gain a following.
Obama Panders. Obama surely doesn't Fix what this Country yearns for.A strong,
Vibrant Economy and overall togethernness.Obama Lives to divide & Conquer.
Yes,Obama is famous for what Democrats typically do.Trotsky out War Heroes like
Max Cleland { as Kerry did }.Or use someone Like Gabbie Giffords as a prop.
What was the point of having Miss Giffords go out and do the Pledge of Allegiance.
There was only one motive for that.To make it appear that Democrats are SO
caring and considerate. That they truly care about Miss Giffords.I'd like to know what
Gabby and her husband felt about that. Were they asked or pressured.
I say they were pressured Big Time.
As far as being closed-minded ... there is no question ... none at all that the
Democrat Party or New Democrats are as Close-minded a group of Authoritarians
or Totalitarians as ever existed in this U.S of A. That's a Fact.Just ask around.
Don't take my word for it.

none of the bourgeois candidates are capible of helping anybody except for the owning class. In fact that's all Obama's done through his term. Romney is also tied to capital. The masses have nothing to gain by voting for either one of those war mongering, supply side, lying politicians.

So you align with party platforms more than the individual? Interesting. Here's a snippet about the Democrat's plans for the middle class from their own website. Do tell exactly what they plan to do differently.

Here's the ending paragraph of this 10,000 word Bible of the Dems that doesn't really say anything:

Please feel free to study this tome and tell us exactly what Obama & the Dems plan to do differently in the next 4 years?

    http://www.democrats.org/democratic-national-platform

I don't see a single thing. And BTW... "MAKING INVESTMENTS" means spending $$$$ we don't have. He's already watered that gopher hole... how will pouring more money down help the middle class?

To directly attribute the unemployment rate or the inflation rate to the president is jumping to conclusions. Once again I'd like to remind all of you that the president does not control the legislative branch of the government, the state governments, the municipal governments, or the owners and executives of any business.

Well I think it's fair to evaluate specific actions he has done and their direct, foreseeable effects. That's what he's responsible for. It is not fair to attribute the unemployment rate to him. There's simply too many confounding variables.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a partisan issue. Assuming that the crash of 2008 was "Bush's fault" isn't fair either, unless you know something specific that he did that led directly to it.

The hardest part of being an adult is taking responsibility for one's actions. The president is responsible for the state of the union. Period. Some forecasters believe the mere fact Romney is elected will result in a surge in hiring because it comes with the promise of repealing Obamacare. How business leaders feel about a president is just as important as cold hard numbers. Obama's policies have stifled small businesses while propping up the big boys. Not sure what's there for his supporters to brag about.

Yes,the above mentioned people are "surrogates " for OBAMA,why, because they were "directly" effected by our POTUS' OBAMA policies-
What was the point of Gabby Giffords coming out to give the Pledge of Alligiance---There was no "SEEMING" to care- "every" American should "CARE" Myself along with (except you) every other American found her remarkable recovery extraordinarily heart warming--I was so very pleased to see how far she has come.
See,the difference between yourself & me is,I look at the glass being half full & looking for ways to help fill it further-including being touched by people overcoming unbelieveable adversity.
You look at that glass being half empty & looking for someone else to fill it up,& if it isn't filled up to your satisfaction on any given day,you look for a scapegoat to blame while you set on your bum doing nothing but whine.
