Impeach him, and the power to kill remains. This new power resides not with Obama, but with the presidency. Changing the president changes nothing.

The Obama administration feels justified in targeting and killing a 16 year old American Citizen child! It was a separate drone strike than the one that killed his father. This kid was younger than Treyvon Martin. What sort of clear and present danger could a 16 year old kid pose to the United States? Remember the kid was an American Citizen entitled to due process. Geez and the left called Bush a murderer.

The left is now in power, which makes it OK.
The right likes that sort of show of power anyway, which makes it OK.
That leaves it up to the libertarians to make a call to sanity.

Legitimate enemy combatants on a foreigh battlefield I don't have a problem with, an armed drone is a useful tool. Guys attack Americans like at the embassy in Benghazi, let 'em have it. A 16 year old kid American citizen who's father was a suspected terrorist, blowing him up with a drone I do have a problem with. American citizens are protected by the Constitution's "due process" clause no matter where they are, unless they are actively in the process of trying to kill Americans with the same immediacy and an armed man facing a cop. NO ONE in government should have the ability to just "deem" someone a terrorist and "BOOM". That would be the same as a cop having the right to say some guy looked like a criminal to him so shoot him. A line has been crossed as soon as the first American citizen was blown up without due process of law. The constitution is being trampled on, when that happens we get the same as below................

We are indeed headed down that road when the constitution is not followed.

Better late than never...When will the Demikins get their epiphany and realize that: Bush I = Clinton = Bush II = Obama.....Different rhetoric on a steady march towards tyranny...Rand Paul is right to demand answers to his questions just as Dennis Kucinich was right on target with his assertions and questions to the Bushists....Get a grip and quit squabbling over this whole false Left vs Right fraud....Cheers

Why stop with Pres Bush Sr, you can certainly include Pres Reagan. He too bent the rules.

This issue should not be about cons vs libs. Both should be concerned over the use of Drones.

My view is that we should not be using drones at all in foreign countries unless we are at war with that country. Since we are currently not at war with any country .. we should not be hearing about drone strikes.

If Jordan wants to use a drone to take out some terrorists .... then Jordanians should be piloting that drone.

I just try and reverse the situation. How would we feel if some other country was operating drones and killing people with these drones in the US ?

If we do not like the idea of folks doing this to us then we should not be doing it to them.

Also ... what are we to say to China, Russia or any other country when they start using drones to kill people in other countries.

They will just laugh and say "well you guys do it ... why cant we " ?

It does not matter if one is lib or con, this is bad precedent.

You are the only one on the record for killing other Americans purely because their politics are different than yours.
Fortunately there aren't many like you around.
