Why does it never fail that somebody always comes in with the Kindergarten level understanding of Science?

No! A "law", in Science, is any explanation that can be expressed as a formula (chemical or mathematical or logical). "Theory" simply means "explanation". They can be proven (Quantum Theory, Cell Theory, Theory of Evolution, Theory of Gravity, ...) or not yet proven (M-Theory, String Theory, Supersymetry Theory, Pansepermia Theory,...)

Now... go study and come back to us when you've finished 6th Grade!

How do you conclude when it has been "proven".

Oh my God! Why do I keep wasting my time with you? When have I ever said "Absolute proof"?

    You made it up!

The expression "absolute proof" does not exist in Science. It has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing It just doesn't exist!

But you bring it up and ascribe it to me because you can't live without throwing in a lame strawman, can you?

Tell you what, since your claim predates mine and I am utterly sick and tiered of doing other people’s homework for them, what say you back up your claim there is no consensus and I will link to the papers that show there is.

    Meanwhile chew on this

    http://www.ipcc-wg2.org/AR5/images/uploads/WGII-AR5_Authors.pdf

That is just one of three “working groups” that have contributed to the IPCC

There is no overwhelming consensus. Period. These are scientists talking. Not me and not you. Some people have claimed there is overwhelming consensus, but they cannot point to a study which shows overwhelming agreement. If scientists cannot agree on this, I see no good reason for anyone else to believe it is "settled science". .
One study contrived a consensus by using the number of articles published. But by its very nature that is cherry picking the people doing the voting.

That is not a random survey. of scientists.

It is not a matter of doing someone else's homework. No such study exists and I have looked for it many times.

Well... if Science is done by "voting", I vote we abolish the Laws of Gravity! That way we don't have to use cars to get to work because we can fly there. And imagine how much money we can save on air fares alone.

gravity is not real, it's a theory, so you can't prove that if I hold an apple out and drop it, that is will fall to the ground, that is just a someones theory :)

I think the word "theory" confuses some, climate change is real, but there is theories of the consequences of it - like evolution is real, but there are theories of how we evolved

    They also discuss Cooks paper

More has been published since around this subject

Now you can do your part and prove there is no consensus on the major issues

Except that EVERYTHING that was predicted to happen as a result of climate change HAS happened.
There is a reason that 4 of the 5 worst hurricanes in history have happened in the last 15 years.
There is a reason why we are seeing stronger storms well outside of the traditional "seasons" (the time of the year where tempuratures are best suited to cause the storms, and give them strength.
There is reason why the seas levels are rising, and we are seeing much more coastal flooding than we used to.
There is a reason why wildfires are happening more frequently and at a much more devestating level.
There is a reason why we are seeing widespread shifts in animal migration patterns and range.

What do you consider proof? I don't are whether you call it voting, opinion or whatever. Scientists have not come to anything near a overwhelming consensus on this subject.
There isn't. These are the opinions of scientific groups. It is not necessarily the opinion of individual scientists. For example you could have 51% of the scientists in an organization say that they believe in man made global warming. That "group" believes in global warming.
Show me a survey where they interview individual scientists and any where near 95% agree that man is responsible for msot of the global warming and that we have the ability to change it and predict the outcome..

Then what are you basing your belief on?

Because every major academy of science in the world has issued state, ents supporting the theory of climate change

    https://skepticalscience.com/joint-statements-on-climate-change-from-nas-around-world.html

Now I have given proof of my contention that there IS consensus around the core concepts of climate change

Time for you to do your homework

My belief is only that it is not a settled science. And as such they should allow dissenting views without automatically saying they are wrong for promoting such a view.
I have done my homework. I challenge you to find a study in which 95% of individual scientists agree in global warming.

The only "dissenting view" that come from the right is that either that climate change is a hoax made up to harm the fossil fuel industry, or that it's a hoax created by china to undermine the US (which is what Trump claims)

There is enough evidence to say for certain that climate change is happening, and that it's having adverse effects now. But a bunch of politicians, who openly admit that they are not scientists, claim that the vast majority of climotologists are all in on some elaborate hoax.

Yes. Before Darwin's Theory of Evolution there was Lamarck's Theory of Evolution. It just so happens that Lamarck's was wrong and Darwin's was right.

I am not asking WHAT you think but WHY you think that

    BTW https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_consensus_on_climate_change

I note that you still have no validation for the claim that there is no consensus

Darwin's theory still has many holes which havent been explained, which is why it's a theory and not a scientific law, like gravity, motion, etc.

No. First of all your terminology is way off.

A law is a formula. Newton's laws of Motion, or his laws of Gravity. They are mathematical formulas. Avogadro's Law or Boyd's law, they are Chemical equations. The laws of thermodynamics, which are formulas used in physics, chemistry and in biology.

Theories include laws, but also other things. For example, Darwin's Theory of Evolution includes and is used to confirm Mendel's Laws of inheritence. So a Theory is much more than a law. But they also show how they work over long periods of time and across many generations. And how they incorporate natural selections and other external factors....

There are very few Theories in Science that are as solid and which have been proven and confirmed from so many perspectives as the Theory of Evolution. There is confirmation from Biology, of course. But also from Chemistry, Anthropology, Geology, Physics, , ... Because it was so controversial at one point, the Theoriy of Evolution has the unique positon of having been confirmed from more different perspectives than any other single Scientific Theory in existence.

The Theory explains how Evolution happens. Other things like whether this species came before that, or this humanoid branch interbred with this or that other one are details that sometimes need to be corrected. But they are details. They might change "what" happened. But they don't change the "how" and, therefore, are not part, nor do they affect the theory itself.

Might want to study the science of gravity and what would happen if you abolished it. You wouldn’t be getting to work! :)

What is gravity by the way?

Definitely a particle! In my opinion. Since we don't know for sure (and since I'm not a scientist), we can have opinions I'm convinced it's a particle.
