^^^ This is further proof that dems think Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" is real news.

The mainstream media has completely brainwashed you people into thinking that Clinton would have been a better president. It's truly pathetic.

Instead of divisive rhetoric, I'd like solutions to problems. I'd like to see job creation, not massive taxes. You know, California isn't doing too hot but the state that's the best is actually North Dakota! So more North Dakota-type policies, not California's miserable failure.

Instead of focusing all of that energy on social issues, promote more pro-family and pro-growth policies. Energize our middle class to succeed for the 21st century. The 'little battles' the far left wants to win, are inconsequential compared to the major battles they're not even trying to fight.

Of course Trump is a legitimate POTUS. He was elected by 306 electoral college votes in a free and fair election. Nobody (to my knowledge) is claiming that the Russians hacked machines or forged ballots. At best they provided voters with true information, and those voters voted their conscience. This makes Trump the indisputable POTUS in a week.

Disagreeing with the intelligence agencies is not "taking the side of the Russians". They work at the pleasure of the President, he does not answer to them. Don't forget that as POTUSe he is getting the full classified briefings, he knows what the intelligence agencies' reasoning is. They have not yet released this in full to the public.

Reserve judgement until at least Jan 21.

Democrats know what's best for everyone. After all, they are the only smart, educated, cultural people with table manners right? Why would you bother asking a bunch of uneducated, redneck, racist hicks what America wants when liberals know what's best in everyone's interests.

Wow the picture is getting a lot of use, it's also being using to soften the democrats claim Jeff is a closet Klansman, which raises the question, will Lewis be giving his buddy Jeff the nod or will he be helping to gather oak for the Democrat burning of his brother Jeffy at the stake

John Lewis is a perfect example of why the Democratic Party in the U.S. has become a regional, fringe party that most Americans have decided to shun.

He is 77 years old, which is typical of the age of the Democratic leaders; Nancy Pelosi is 76. Her second-in-command, Maryland's Steny Hoyer, is 77. Jim Clyburn, the third ranking House Democrat, is 76.

Like most cult-like organizations, the old people will maintain their hold on power regardless if it hurts their organization. It's not about the betterment of the country, or even their party; leftists like the Democratic leadership are only interested in their own agendas.

This problem with old, out of touch leaders is now becoming evident of the disfunction of liberals/progressives/socialists. Even the biased, left-wing Washington Post agrees:

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ers-is-um-nonexistent/?utm_term=.a9cc79373fe7

Obama was an outlier for the Democrats; Lewis and the other old people are the true face of the party.

And this is the other problem for Dems: instead of embracing diverse ideas from their younger members, leftists are similar to the Soviet apparatchik in that new ideas, new, diverse approaches to problem frighten them.

For me, the defining moment of how stupid house Democrats and their constituents are was the every amazing Quam Island Flip by Hank Johnson!

I mean I can see a gaf, but clearly this tool believes every word he is saying, and to me that's scary as hell!

It wasn't a massive loss. They won the popular vote by a large margin. Trump is only President because the Constitution magnifies the impact of votes in sparsely populated areas (as it was intended to do).

Other than Paul Ryan, the GOP leadership isn't studded with young people either.

    Here's a glimpse of Lewis values / ideology: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congressional_Black_Caucus
You'll note the "MOTTO" ... but scroll down to Steve Cohen, the only white congressman to apply. A bit further down, his rejection is explained ... Lewis is a voting member of said "caucus", but says he's unsure the new admin. will serve the interests of "all" Americans ...

You are incorrect. As I linked above from the biased, left-wing Washington Post:

"Contrast that with the Republican leadership in Congress. Speaker Paul Ryan is 46. Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy is 51. While Senate leader Mitch McConnell is 74 years old, there are a number of younger faces in GOP leadership including John Thune (55) and newly-elected campaign chair Cory Gardner (42)."

Old, extremest Democrats are leading their party further into the fringe. But I hope its members, like you, continue to ignore this...

John Lewis, a blithering, incompetent fossil from the civil rights era, who ironically belongs to the very same party that once cracked him over the head at Selma, claims Trump presidency to be illegitimate.

This psychosis has gone way beyond juvenile; it is now downright dangerous. If only we could reanimate Roy Innis to shove this ass-clown to the ground like he did Sharpton.

    Mr. Lewis has a point.

Trump is not a legitimate president. He began his campaign off of emotion, and finished it with emotion. It was never about real ideas in the first place. There's a reason I like to compare Trump Supporters to disgruntled McDonald's customers bi*ching about a half-eaten big mac, and wanting a return. They're both angry, and their anger clouds common sense.

That picture is pure gold, perfect example of leftist hypocrisy. Doesn't help Lewis' credibility, that is what little the Congressman had in the first place. Lewis has been living off his Selma bridge moment for decades. He comes from the 5th Congressional district in Georgia, a district with 58% black population so he can pretty much say what he wants without fear of being replaced.
