How does it eleminate voter suppression. Auto registration and same day registration and absentee ballots are important methods of increasing voter turn out

You make this so easy. Kemp has already been successfully sued once for voter suppression. Or are you one of the Trumpette's who obey Don when he tells you not believe what you see?

Are you kidding what you describe would be considered entrapment if law enforcement did it. But it is why I think the number is lowball.

Rather then debate about how to conduct a poll that shows illegals are willing to admitt to a federal crime over the phone to an unknown person, show us the poll !

Well. All I hear on leftie radio is every republican is doing their very best to purge the voter rolls. Listening to them, I would guess the republicans favorite pastime is throwing democrats off the voter rolls.
Now, If a voter with a photo ID and the address matches the precinct or parish records, shows up at their correct polling place, it is pretty hard to not allow them the right to vote. Don't you agree?

There is no evidence whatsoever to substantiate you claim that Democrats are famous for cheating at polls. None. You made it up.

The rest of your post is empty trash talk, tinged with obvious racism!

Yup, they're trying to cage 35,000 votes in an election that is expected to be very tight. The man doing the caging is the Republican candidate in that election.

Their bet is that it will all be over before any court issues and order on it, and that the conservative courts will let them get away with it.

If that happens, welcome back Jim Crow.

the entire country (ny come oct 2020) has mandated and put in place 'enhanced' id requirements, which clearly shows whether or not you're a us citizen, other forms like 'real id' do not ...

so why can't we, as a country, just mandate that the only way to enter a polling place is with that enhanced id???
it's a simple fool proof idea and it eliminates all this bs about voter fraud...

my guess is, that the left clearly don't want this because it'll prove to the world that they have been 'rigging' votes for decades...

Settling a lawsuit is no presumption of guilt, especially in light of the number of such suits filed in LW controlled superior courts in big blue cities of red states like Georgia. Another fact necessary to see through the LW BS on "voter suppression."

The whole "voter suppression" lie narrative revolves around making one of the Democrats' favorite tricks for decades, busing in long lines of "voters," more difficult to accomplish. Says something about the left generally that their blocs have to be "managed" and babied in this way like children to get votes and win elections.

And as far as other posts in the thread claiming the Abrams/Kemp race is "tight" tell us more BS, the Perdue/Nunn race was falsely advertised as "tight" too and... well anyone can check the actual results, ugly for Democrats as the GA governor election will almost certainly be.

    No.
Do you know what you’re asking municipalities to do ? Function like a DMV ( department of motor vehicles) it would be a zoo and another attempt at voter suppression. If states want to do it, let them provide the resources. Of course they are trying to disfranchise non Republican voters. ,

A spokeswoman from Kemp's office told The Hill that the applications are being held due to the state's "exact match" law, which passed last year. The law requires an applicant's information to match exactly what is listed by the state's Department of Driver Services or the Social Security Administration.

According to the legislation, if an applicant’s information on a voter registration form results does not match the information in a federal or state database, the applicant’s status is "pending."

    What is the issue here?

    Btw
The New Georgia Project seeks out minorities for voter registration and relies on the use of paper
forms. Unfortunately, the New Georgia Project did not adequately train canvassers to ensure
legible, complete forms in the 2014 election
cycle, and it prioritized volume of applications over
quality of applications. Elections officials all across this state have talked to New Georgia Project
representatives about how they can fix these issues. If these problems continue, it is because the
New Georgia Project remains uniquely sloppy in their registration efforts.

So either they NGP is finding people with horrible writing skills or they are fudging forms..

Which do you think is more likely?

    http://sos.ga.gov/admin/uploads/Lawyers_Committee_Litigation_Threat_-_House_Bill_2682.pdf

    n the 2014 election cycle,
Stacey Abrams’ New Georgia Project secured roughly 83,500 voter
registration forms from individuals. The vast majority came from people who were already
registered to vote. Although Abrams pledged to register hundreds of thousands of new voters, her
    proje
ct ultimately captured less than 3,000 brand
    -
new voters who actually participated in the 2014
    or 2015 election cycle.
By unanimous vote on September 20, 2017, the bipartisan
    State Election Board
    referred seventeen
    (17) New Georgia Project canvassers to the Attorney General’s office for prosecution of election
law violations. The case remains open. At the hearing, the Director of Muscogee County’s
    Elections and Registra
tion Office, Nancy Boren, offered this testimony
So you are defending fraud just to race bait... Thanks

    typical bs response... it's a known issue and is continually debated every election... using enhanced id would put that to bed... the only reason to be against it is one of criminal intent;

here's ny's explanation of the difference between a 'real' & 'enhanced' id:

What they want is for these groups to "canvass" fill out as many forms they can legit or not be submitted as accepted as real no questions asked or its "racist".

    Its pathetic.

    trumos commision failed !

    https://www.buzzfeednews.com/articl...0-states-are-refusing-to-fully-cooperate-with

Eventually 46 states refused to comply with Trumos comision on voter fraud. They refused to turn personal voter information over to the Fed....it folded.
Care to guess why even Republican lead states refused. It violated the constitution.

Many state officials say cooperating would only legitimize debunked claims of widespread voter fraud.

You guys are hilarious. While there was obviously no admission of guilt for the intent of suppressing voter registration, and thus voting, the fact that Georgia agreed to stop the practice they were being sued for says it all.

"Georgia has settled a federal lawsuit that accused Secretary of State Brian Kemp of disenfranchising minority voters because of a requirement on registration forms that critics said blocked thousands of them from voter rolls.

The state will no longer reject applications that don’t exactly match identification information in state and federal databases as part of the agreement, which was finalized late Thursday."

As November Approaches, Courts Deal Series Of Blows To Voter ID Laws

    https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo...-courts-deal-series-of-blows-to-voter-id-laws

All summer long, the clock has been ticking on voting rights cases. Judges don't like to change voting rules too near an election, and November is creeping ever closer.

And the past two weeks, in particular, have been eventful: Five courts in five states ruled against voter ID and proof-of-citizenship laws.
    ................................................................................................................................................................
Once again, the point here is voter fraud is not a problem. The "problem" Repubs are trying to solve is keeping certain people from voting.

It’s like pleading guilty in the world of politics. The GOP has a history of trying to win elections with ideas that the majority doesn’t support. They have to cheat to please their donors.

Proof is usually provided, but the Left simply plays see no evil, hear no evil or puts their fingers in their ears and say la, la, la. Once they are proven wrong Lefties will simply wait a few days and then go back to parroting the same drivel.

Study supports Trump: 5.7 million noncitizens may have cast illegal votes

It says nothing, as other posters' point out with evidence you ignore, and will continue to ignore. You guys aren't hilarious, just sad and desperate to peddle the same old stale, false narratives every election.

So.........you are one of the Trumpette's who've been convinced not to believe what you see.

'What you’re seeing and what you’re reading (Georgia stopping the practice for which they were being sued) is not what’s happening.'
