Rick Perry’s bizarre speech

Maybe he's watched one too many episodes of Warehouse 13, and now thinks he's Pete Lattimer.

Come to think of it, trying to act cool pretty much fails for Pete on that show as well.

 

Oh boy.....the Dems pets.....Rachel Maddow and Jon Stewart should get married. They'd make the perfect pair of libs!!! Just please.....don't breed!!

 

Perry is not the GOP candidate, so how is the GOP throwing this election?

I agree, this speech was weird but luckily Perry doesn't stand a chance to be the GOP candidate. Texas can have him back.

 

Perhaps watching the actual video woudl explain why folks are saying he appeared out of it. The guy appeared to have either some mental regression back to being a 4 year old or he is just flat out a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing moron.

 

Frankly, I was suspecting that Howard Dean called him after the speech, and offered him partnership in a new PR firm.

 

Just like you guys, we like to weight in with our opinions as well. Just pointing out the obvious and it should be of no surprise to the conservative posters in here that Perry's days are done; just like Cain's appear to be as well. Face it, Romney's probably going to be your party's candidate in 2012; if I were you guys, i'd be working on building support for him with the American people.

I recall that's the same thing libs said about Ronald Reagan. Now they quote him and hold it up as the standard bearer. Go figure. That's Dems for ya.

If HG lost 50 IQ points, maybe. HG does or did have an apocalyptic streak like Bachmann.

 

Do not worry. If Romney's the candidate, he'll get my full support and that of ALL other Republicans, Independents, and probably some Democrats who are fed up with the current guy. But we're not about to let Dems make our choice for us with chosen clips from youtube, or out-of-context comments and claims of sexual harrassment with no meat to them. Unlike Dems and libs, I'll be looking at records and making my choice based on that. I think the primary state's will be also.

 

They are both scheming at least. Though Bachmann's apparently not quite so crafty.

On reflection, I guess Cain did sort of sneak up out of nowhere, a la Mrs. Frederic.

Doesn't seem to bother Obama. He often quotes him and pretends to be like him.

 

Cain and Mrs Frederic both have sinister smiles and pasts shrouded in obscurity.

 

Difference is Reagan armed Bin Ladin, and Obama had him shot in the head.

That's the thing about conservative presidents -- they tend to arm our mortal enemies.

 

You apparently do not know (*)(*)(*)(*) about Reagan and the US support for the Afghan rebels against the Soviets, and then the support provided by the Saudi's and Pakistani's, and then what Bin Laden financed himself.

Please read, "Charlie Wilson's War," to find out who was arming the Mujahadeen back in the late 80's. He was a Democrat Congressman....doing it covertly....and going around the president and the Congress to do it too. He was pretty revered by other Democrats for it, too.

BTW, that doesn't have a thing to do with Obama's continually comparing himself to Reagan and his policies. He'll never measure up to Reagan....and he knows it.
