I think you have an archaic world view. Regarding Russia and China, the nice bridge they built will soon be a conduit into southern Russia for China’s population looking for some elbow room. Russia is a lot like the Muslims: If they set foot once, they retain their ownership forever.

I don't see China's borders any different than what they always were, do you? As for Taiwan, from what I read 70% of them want to unite with China and according to the Hague, people do have a right to their own self determination - unless you think that right should exist only if it's agreeable to Washington?

Anyway Moscow has strict immigration laws, otherwise half of Central Asia would be in Russia. Besides that the climate is too cold for China - also the Chinese men think the Russian women age too fast. It will happen eventually though, and with it Russia's East will probably see a new 'race' of beautiful and brilliant offspring.

As for politics, Russia and China have now formed the strongest military alliance in the world.

In other words a government can only be legitimate if it puts the US interests ahead of their own. Oh well!

In one year Russia will have freed all of Ukraine from the Zalensky/Washington regime, that is unless Poland wants to work with Moscow and reclaim the Western area. It's not though because Moscow wanted to free all of Ukraine - only the Russian areas from the Nazi attacks. But it's because they were forced to by Western obstinance in continuing the war so they could overthrow Vladimir Putin and break up the Russian Federation.

What's happening now in the EU has to do with their own refusal to sign long term contracts with Gazprom - which means Russia has no commitment to supply them with gas. I guess the EU expected Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar to supply them with LNG gas, but the West's support for Nazi 'supremacists' has alienated most of the world.

Yesterday Russia cut in half the amount of gas Rome's Eni requested. Well what's one to expect when Draghi keep criticizing Russia for its special operation, and doesn't give a damn about the genocide of Russian speakers in Ukraine. Italy assumed that Algeria will supply them with gas, but they were sadly mistaken. At the end of December Italy, which is the EU's second largest economy will not be able to pay its debt and will be bankrupt.

As for France, Germany and Spain, they're not faring much better. I see the EU's survival rate as being nil.

China benefits if the USA castrates Russia in NATO engagement. Russia knows this. Russia knows China can not support itself without exports. Russia knows how China will play that hand. Russia is Africa with nukes.
The world will be a better place without Russia as we know it and Russians know it too.

I despise lies, and I despise hypocrisy. Honesty was as much a part of my American upbringing as fairness and justice.

Building on lies, as we are now doing,
    can no more stand,
than building one's house on quick sand. :oldman:

No person who "despises lies and hypocrisy" could ever love Russia and a Chekist like Vladimir Putin. Modern Russia was built on both.

Oh yes, the West loved the Russians as long as they were stealing their resources in the 90's and sending them to off shore accounts, while the Russians were going hungry. According to those with relatives in Russia, they have given up all illusions and now hate the West with a passion.

The EU shouldn't expect any mercy come winter when they're starving and freezing. Whatever grains Russia has, and it is the largest supplier in the world, will be going to help Africa so they won't starve.

Russia isn't winning anything at this point. They are fronting an image of strength and stability for propaganda purposes, but the measures they are taking will not sustain them long-term. Their economy is shrinking and sanctions are doing their work, which is slow and gradual in many ways. The EU is not planning to be largely free of Russian energy imports until the end of the year at the earliest, which means Russia is still receiving a lot of their former income from that avenue, but this will change in time. High energy costs are likewise giving Russia a temporary boost, but this, too, will change as other oil producers adjust and boost output. If prices stay high long enough, I expect we will see more drilling in the US as well.

So again, Russia is not winning any war. They appear strong at the moment, but it is as illusory as was their appearance of having the world's #2 military prior to their invading Ukraine and demonstrating that they are all hat and no cattle.

Why would I want to destroy Russia or any other nation unless they're committing injustices towards other countries? I don't see Russia doing that. Their special operation in Ukraine was to stop the genocide of the Russian speakers in Donetsk and to protect the Russian Federation from the US, Nato and the illegitimate regime in Kiev. If you don't consider the lives of Russians worthy of being protected, then wouldn't that be the same as Nazism?

So let me ask you something, why are you intent on destroying Russia? Is it because you have embedded prejudices; are just being paranoid or because you are greedy for their assets? As for me, I see Vladimir Putin as having the courage to fight the World Economic Forum at Davos - which I am adamantly against. To me they are nothing but a bunch of ideologues who think they're gods and who want to enslave mankind in a one world government and economic system - which by the way, goes against everything our Constitution stands for.

Take that you fools of misery.
For we the gods of lofty see,
who look at you from our great height
and snicker at the motley sight
of lesser beings, not as bright as we.

As you well know, we run your State
and are the masters of your fate.
    But's that's because we weren't fools
    who followed banal moral rules.

We made our own, it was our right.
    that's why we now reign in our height;
and not on earth, but in our stead

of hubris and of bloated head.

Simple, they have nuclear weapons aimed at my United States (same applies to the Chinese as well).

And no I don't give a damn that the U.S. aims nuclear weapons at the Russians and Chinese.

No one was trying to destroy them until they invaded another nation.
Now by default, opposing them may just end up destroying them. That's Putins fault.

We are in favor of them using as many resources as possible for them to fail at their goal. To demonstrate that War is always more costly. Always.

Capitalism is the path to success. Not taking what you want by force.
