For god's sake, you are so uniformed about this. No wonder you're rooting for war.

And no, those troops are from national armies tasked to a joint task force, not a separate NATO army or whatever you're thinking.

Wait you mean we are not going to war with Russia now because of the Russkie "attack?"

You are putting your politics in front of military organization.

Just what do you think a joint task force is??
And no, war is the last thing I want.
However I would like to see some understanding about how NATO works.
It is not some club that belongs to the US.

Perhaps you don't remember the politics of the time, but the Democrats really really hated the idea of missile defense and when Obama became President he cancelled a program he opposed ideologically, not because he wanted to better organize the military.

This was a major issue at the time and I'm sure was probably well covered on this forum so it's curious that you didn't seem to know anything about it.

I thought it was a major mistake at the time and still think so.

I know how a joint task force works. That's why you were wrong.

Go wallow in your petty politics. The USA military is always adjusting man and equipment positions, and most certainly when there is a command change.

Heh, my point was made. But you don't need to keep bringing attention to that fact by trying to spin.

I don't need to read the link, because I know that there was no engagement of NATO forces in any battle, in either of those conflicts.

WAIT! WW3 is on hold again!
Lol… the media blew it again. It was apparently Ukraine shooting at a Russian missile. Smart idea by Russia, since misses don’t turn around and come back.

So if Russia didn't fire those missiles into Poland...

This is a 'timely reminder that the war in Ukraine has the potential to spin out of control at any point. Poland didn’t wind up invoking Article IV of the NATO charter, which would have begun “high-level consultations” among the members intended to determine whether Article V needed to be invoked and call for retaliatory action against Russia by NATO in their defense. But Poland’s leaders admitted that they discussed doing so in the early hours of the event.'

'Rather than funding this war endlessly, it is long past time for the Biden administration to push Ukraine toward a diplomatic solution. We have spent far too long surfing our way along the brink of a potential nuclear war with Russia. We also need a full accounting of where all of the billions of dollars and modern weapons systems the United States has flushed into Ukraine wound up going. Starting in January, Joe Biden has already been warned that he won’t have an endless “blank check” to keep funding this proxy war, so he needs to exercise some leadership and start shutting that show down.'

Unless he's collecting "10% for The Big Guy."

So if Russia invaded Alaska and started down the Pacific Coast towards oregon and Washington state, you would be happy with a negotiated settlement with the man who salivates over owning your entire west coast and as far east as the Mississippi River?
Ukraine is a free sovereign country. I have to say I am surprised at the idea that the mighty USA would appease Putin.
    Appeasement is what started WW2.

    We know... pro Russia, 24x7....

The media covered what they were told by US and foreign officials.... there was naturally some speculation, based on the most credible option, that turned out to be false.

I still love the anti-media fear, even 6 years down the road from when you were first told to fear it...

More disturbing...what was a Russian missile doing near the border between Ukraine and Poland?
The fighting is supposed to be In the east of Ukraine.
And where was this Russian missile fired from? Belarus?

No. We would whip their asses.
And they are free to defend themselves.
We gave them the tools to stop him in his tracks. Now it's time to end this before it spins out of control
Your nation is free to fund Ukraine in whatever manner they wish.

No. Most likely they were fired by Ukrainian air defense and unintentionally landed in Poland.

    .
It looks to me as if Ukraine is doing a pretty good job of stopping Putin.
    Why give up now?

Yes but defense against what? Presumably something Russian and airborne.
So what was it and where was it fired from?
