If it was a Ukrainian missile why was it fired west towards Poland? Unless you believe the missile boomeranged towards Poland after it was fired? I believe that to be highly unlikely.

 

If they are "leftist Republicans" if they even exist, are in favor of the war in Europe. How many congressional democrats oppose the war? I can name a few Republicans who are conservative that oppose the war such as Rand Paul and a few others.

Well, today they are saying that it's most likely a Ukrainian missile defense system that malfunctioned during the barrage of incoming Russian attacks at civilian facilities.

 

Seems to be the case... I stopped following the story late yesterday afternoon so I could finish preparations for my Florida Man announcement party... What a wing ding we had!! Still think I'm a little buzzed this morning...

If true, it's like the case of a man defending himself by shooting at an attacker and killing an innocent bystander instead.

Who gets the blame in those cases?

 

Already is a no fly zone over Nato .. and Russia is not using that air space anyway .. nor attacking NATO .. an errant missile .. is no big deal .. and could well be some lame false flag .. Russia is not penetrating Poland's air space - attacking Poland. This is a big nothing burger .. .

There are no "NATO FORCES", just national armies. Now, understand that these forces can be put under the Command of an Officer of another nation... but there is no "NATO ARMY" The traditional NATO Commander has been an American, but he had forces of other nations placed under his control as the situation demanded. (NOTE: I spent half of my 20 year career in the US Army in Germany.)

Very glad this story didn't turn out to be what it could have been. Would have been insane for Putin to have escalated his war to NATO in this bizarre way, so that certainly was a consideration...

Of course, this still counts as the fault of Russia by escalating their missile war against civilian targets in the first place...

A war of words as I'm pretty sure Selensky will not like his military being blamed for the killing of two Polish citizens. Selensky has already come and said it was Russia who attacked Poland. My guess is the experts have already determined whether the missile was a SAM or STS. The Russians have no real need for SAM.

 

The USSR collapsed because it could not afford to hold onto all of the countries. So why do you think Putin believes he can do what the Soviet Union couldn't? Russia doesn't the GDP to support such thing. Stop regurgitating this nonsense.
