    It actually was less than 100 years. The "Scramble for Africa" started in the 1880's and Africa was decolonized in the 1960's.

    Ok, I'm going to give you an answer and it will sound just like it came from your keyboard: Whites fell behind the Asians because once they realized how far ahead they were of Africans and Latinos they stopped trying.

    I know. It can't be reconciled with their world view, so the fact just doesn't exist for them.

    Instead they yammer on about Asians with their 1 point advantage over Whites in IQ to distract from the fact that Blacks are 15 points behind.

    The Sumerians are considered to have been Caucasians, so I don't think that is correct.

    The point is that Black Africans never did. They could hardly be called civilized which is the point under discussion.

    now you're being tone deaf. when you enter a thread about race and intelligence and say something about intelligence, people assume you're implicitly saying something about race, whether you are or not, because context is an important part of communication. i don't care if intelligence is inherited or not in the slightest, i become concerned when it reads like you're implicitly justifying racist ideology.

    so, if you wanted to say something about race, doesn't really matter because race is fake as hell, and if you didn't, what the hell are you here for?
