Why? What would happen to Hannity if he lied on TV?

You guys are getting really desperate since your little Trump/Russia collusion nothingburger blew up in your faces.

Cohen actually did not. His lawyer did under court order.. FFS read the article.
Then learn what a client is in context of lawyer-client-privelge and then come back and reply.. FFS this has all been linked to. READ.

Hannity was not a client of Cohen's. I think that Cohen was trying to make the point that he was more than a fixer for Trump and threw
Hannity's name out there, thinking that Hannity would back him up.

Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective."

Hannity was not a client in the way of retaining him he was a client under asking for legal advice...

This has been gone over and over again in this thread.

Agreed. Since Hannity denied being a client, there is no attorney client -privilege between them. Should be fun.

Therefore, you'd have no attorney-client privilege with Cohen. All discussions between you two could be compelled under oath.

I'd have to let a judge figure that one out. Should be fun.

Again, I've been gleefully entertained by the Trump Presidency for 18 months now. Much, much better than crying under a Hillary Presidency. :)

Thanks for the petulant insult. It tells me you do not like being disagreed with.

Repeating information to those who refuse to read it is annoying.. "Insult" in this case fully deserved.

Then I gues you got nothing to worry about. You can stop defending the indefensible.

FFS I did read the article, and many others. The title of the article is "Sean Hannity is Named As Client of Michael Cohen, Trump's Lawyer". Of course Cohen's lawyer stated it, they were in court and he represents Cohen, geezzuuss.

And the last big question for those who truly believe Hannity is not a client and Cohen "just gave him advice - why didn't Cohen's submittal to the court say he had 10 clients, only 2 of whom were legal clients? Instead, his submittal showed he had 10 clients, 3 of whom he did legal work for, with Hannity being the third. Nope, it won't wash...Cohen was / is Hannity's lawyer for legal matters, straight from Cohen's submittal to the court.

Since you like passing out advice, I'll do the same - learn to read.....and deal with facts, not nonsense.

Providing information on a topic is not defending anything.. Perhaps stop projecting.

Which adds perjury to his charges if it holds. He said it in court.

Hannity spoke in court? Do you understand if you ask legal advice you are client? Again this has been gone over time and time again.

I've been called the same by LWers and other things by RWers. You know, like being falsely accused of not being able to read or not having read something.

The fact remains Hannity admits there is not attorney client privilege because he's not a client. Most lawyers, even in a consult, will ask for a dollar thereby making the consultee a "client" even if just for advice. A person who asks a lawyer for advice in a bar or on the golf course is not a client. Therefore, the conversation is not privileged. Don't like it? Take it to a judge.

As for the Hannity-Cohen-Trump-Daniels show. I'm really enjoying it. Yes, including all of the faux angst by the LWers who have been butt hurt since November 2016.

If they can persuade Cohen to sing, he'll dazzle.

Just cuz your elevated position of conman for the Trumpettes, allows ample opp for graft, and payola, does NOT negate the RELATIONSHIP. Hannity gets free ****, due to carrying the water for the rich.

    Sigh..

Seeking legal advice makes you a client under Lawer/client/privilege...

Perhaps i would stop suggesting you did not read something if you showed you did.

heh I learned about this from the Sopranos. If you or your partner are thinking of getting a divorce, have a meeting with all the top divorce lawyers. Then they can't represent your partner.
