    The other aspect is that the US does not have any type of recording or detail on the conversation because there were no other US officials involved. The Russians have that record now.

    That is just a very basic failure of diplomacy and national intelligence, especially given that the conversation was with a KGB trained operative like Putin.

    If he had not intended on directly addressing Putin at the dinner, then he should not have gone out of his way to speak with him, privately, for more than an hour.

    With the mountain of lies he and his team have been caught with about Russia he goes and scoots over there without an interpreter to sit down for an hour with Putin, and no one knows what was discussed.

    And what's even more disturbing, the Right could care less. This has become such a Sheep party of know nothings and care about nothing people.

    Can you imagine for a fraction of a second Obama or Hillary doing this? Heads would explode and there would be a call for impeachment for having a secret meeting with Putin because of Treason with a foreign adversary.

    They'd be frantic. And now, what's the big deal?

    Trump has every right to meet with Putin. Im not disputing that, but there are two problems here:

    1. There was no American translator in attendance. That smells very bad. Just like when he had them in the oval office and kicked out every other American and only allowed Russians in the room.

    2. Optics. With everything surrounding Trump and the Russians, why would he meet with Putin with no other Americans privy to what was said. Thats just handing over more ammunition to his detractors (like they need more). Is he really this dumb, or is this all hubris ?

    Righties, please ask yourself this question and answer it honestly: If the same circumstances existed and this was Hillary, would you still think this OK

    That's just it! There is now evidence surfacing that suggests that Trump and Putin were rooming together and one of the hotel maids says she has one of Trump's ties that appears to have some of Putin's DNA smeared all over it. If it turns out that Trump was blowing Putin during the G20 summit would that still be ok with you?

    Wasn't it reported months ago that Trump was Putin's "**** Holster"?

    I feel really confident that nearly every single person with even a semi-decent understanding of national security would have suggested the same.

    Trump doesn't rise to that level.
