So is it your belief that right wing Christians want government involved?

nope, many have tried to convince themselves of that, but never been true

as for our money, that was not added until 1956, was not in the original pledge either, that was changed due to the red scare, not a belief in a God

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_God_We_Trust

"It was adopted by the U.S. Congress in 1956, supplanting E pluribus unum"

Just putting "science" or "design"after something doesn't mean it represents either thing.

How about I promote Flying Spaghetti Monster "Science" and demand that Pastafarians get a mention in Chemistry class on that basis?

"The Great Molecules of Marinara" fable was always a favorite when I was a kid.

So the first amendment was born out of Christianity.
I'm not wrong because I didn't say Christians came up with it. I'm correct because I said secularists got it from Christianity. Christianity got it from judaism, judaism might have got it from zoroastrianism, or they might have come up with it themselves. They didn't get it from secularists.

Show evidence that he wanted what you claim he did.

Yeah DT gassed protestors :) So you're saying Jimmy Carter wasn't sincere in his Christian beliefs, only a political opportunist using religion. Pretty much no one wants a church-state, it's just a fantasy y'all like to beat on.

I don't get where these people come up with this nonsense. I would think 99% if not more of Christians do not want theocracy. The only person I can think of off the top of my head is Steven Anderson if you told me he wanted theocracy I would believe you because that dude's psycho. I don't think he represents coming Christian beliefs in the US at all

Depends on what you mean by good. If you mean agrees with you about everything that's not what anyone else on the planet means by good

But you do tend to take your own liberties with the language suggesting theocracy means something it doesn't really mean.

yep, mostly republican in power that want a Christian theocracy, Bush even had bible quotes on his war briefings

"Iraq war briefings headlined with biblical quotes"

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2009/may/18/rumsfeld-gq-iraq-bible-quotes-bush

Bush even had the military use Jesus Rifles to kill people in Iraq and called it a Crusade

"U.S. Military Weapons Inscribed With Secret 'Jesus' Bible Codes"

    https://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/us-m...bed-secret-jesus-bible-codes/story?id=9575794

    "Rumsfeld’s Iraq “crusade” revealed"

    http://www.crikey.com.au/2009/05/18/rumsfelds-iraq-crusade-revealed/

"I wonder what’s worse: a defense secretary who puts Old Testament quotes on progress updates on an invasion of a Muslim country or a defense secretary who thinks this will add to his president’s knowledge and expertise. The lethal combination of a Christianist president and a cynical coterie helped make the Iraq debacle happen."

That's a conspiracy theory. and you picked it up from a conspiracy theory blog.

site sources with slightly more credibility than Alex Jones if you want to be taken seriously.

I noticed Obama gets a pass for all of his invasions.

It's this hypocrisy why I just automatically assume everything you say is disingenuous.

Obama put a stop to it in 2009

"Pentagon briefings no longer quote Bible"

    https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna30814527

"The Pentagon said Monday it no longer includes a Bible quote on the cover page of daily intelligence briefings it sends to the White House as was practice during the Bush administration."

I'm not interested in what you wish to be fact. Only what you can prove.

I never said there was evidence of God - and how there is some truth to the flood myth is explained in the first post you responded to.

I have heard of it, and it has nothing to do with science. There is no science in creationism.

What does a flood have to do with any of this. Just because there was a major flood in ancient times, does not validate any of creationism in science classes.

Bush thought he was on a mission from God to convert Muslims to Christianity, that had as much a chance of working as Muslims attacking America and converting American Christians to their religion

some are now afraid to send their children to bible school due to what happened in the church, so they want to have public schools to teach them religion

That will be a problem due to the changing demograghics in the nation, even if remotely considered.
