Falling for a cynical gimmick? Cheering for the dollar a year man while that guy invites Wall Street in to write a trillion dollar check on the Treasury and handing you the bill!

Trump, Mnuchin, and the rest of them are laughing at you.

Sure. A man who you think is broke, because of all the evidence you have to back that up, is giving up his $400k salary so rubes on the internet can rub their paws together and exclaim: gimmick.

No, so rubes on the internet can think he's a great man. This is a Trumpster play. Anyone else would wonder what was behind such a cynical gimmick.

There are a lot of people who think that Trump is functionally insolvent.

He rode the esculator and proclaimed that he was worth $10 billion. The commercial real estate industry laughed at the idea. .

Months later, he filed a financial disclosure form claiming a net worth of only $1.8 billion. This year, it shrank to $1.4.

Trumpsters come to New York and see his name everywhere. But he doesn't own any of the buildings. He handled condo sales for other developers and put his name on the building in return for the property management business (which is typically not especially high margin). Lot of the customers for his borkerage were Russians with friends in low and high places looking for places to park their money.

The Russians do own Trump. No Western bank, other than that favorite of money launderers, Deustche Bank, will lend to him. His dismal record of unpaid bills, cheated customers, pissed off investors and defaults make him unbankable.

I know a lot of people in the commercial real estate business, and none of them would even consider getting into a Trump deal

And like Fusion said, it cannot authenticate any of the claims in the dossier, only that he believes in Steele.

    NOT sworn testimony.

"MR DAVIS: Mr. Simpson, you should understand that although the interview is not under oath, by law you are required to answer questions from Congress truthfully. Do you understand that?
    MR. SIMPSON: Yes."

Oh well he's positively a pauper if he only has $1.4 billion to his name.

He'd be so easy to buy, because everyone else in government has so much more money and couldn't succumb to those dirty Russians.

You're assuming that $1.4 billion is an honest and accurate number. There is no reason at all to believe that.

The Russians hold paper on much of his businesses, and they will certainly cash him out at the end of the day.

    "
“A U.S. official with knowledge of Mueller’s probe said one reason for the subpoenas was to find out whether Deutsche Bank may have sold some of Trump’s mortgage or other loans to Russian state development bank VEB or other Russian banks that now are under U.S. and European Union sanctions.”

To explain the details, Melber brought on Bill Cohen, the Why Wall Street Mattersauthor who has worked with three of the largest banks on Wall St.

“If this is true, if this Reuters report is true, that a Russian bank has bought Donald Trump’s debt, that is big news,” Cohen explained. “That’s huge news, because that gives a Russian bank leverage over Donald Trump. Direct leverage.”

“And then they literally own him,” Melber replied.

Steele was obviously used by the Russians to find dissidents against the Putin Regime. No doubt they knew of Steele's activities prior to the
release of the dossier, and just waited for the totality of the information before killing them. This is why Steele should have either remained with the M16 or kept to himself privately. These dissidents would have been more useful alive than dead.

Wow, the subscription of a whole two members at his Florida golf club, the subscriptions that were raised from $100k to $200k per year when he became President. The more he visits his golf clubs the more new members sign up hoping to see him - no wonder he visits them weekly

An NBC investigative reporter's unnamed source says Simpson mischaracterized Australian diplomat's tip about Papadoupolos as a Trump campaign source.

    Kimberley Strassel Retweeted Ken Dilanian

So, wait: In other words, nobody from within Trump camp went seeking out the FBI? So much for that narrative. And also: A "source close" to Simpson says he mislead the committee?

    Kimberley Strassel added,

A source close to Fusion GPS tells me there was no walk-in source -- that was a mischaracterization by Simpson of the Australian diplomat tip about Papadopoulis (sic).

Get it out, it will be easier for you to accept once Mueller's multiple criminal investigations end in numerous indictments.
