I think it was just a body, the soul enters when the brain can accept it

I also think we can die, but our bodies live on

Funny thing that I've never read a scientific journal, text book or study that claims a fetus is a 'baby' .. typically though pro-lifers only want to use science when they think it adheres to their ideology.

Still waiting for a response to the following, or are you scared you can't respond?

Actually we classify a species by taxonomy .. guess what a fetus, especially in it's earliest stages does not meet the classification.

Furthermore IF the fetus is a separate unique human being (person) then it HAS to gain individual and separate consent to impose pregnancy onto a woman.

furthermore again .. I suggest you look up chimera twins, two separate individual DNA's existing within a single body .. hmm is the submissive chimera also a separate person, by your logic it is, and as such any attempt to remove the submissive twin is violating it's human rights. When are you and other pro-lifers going to start calling people who have operations to remove the submissive chimera twin murderers?

or is it more the reality that you and other pro-lifers don't look upon a chimera twin as a person even though it meets your arbitrary justifications.

    Neither are science/medical dictionaries....

If I call my car "my baby" does that mean I can't abort it....:)

    If I call a fetus a kumquat that doesn't mean it's a kumquat...

Are we required by law to bury actual post-birth people? As far as I know, we can have them cremated and dispose of the ashes however we want. Funerals are optional.

LOL! Some of these Anti-Choicers think that if a woman says she has a "bun in the oven" , after 9 months a breakfast pastry pops out of her and the Pillsbury Doughboy hands out cigars! :)

I said a person, stop trying to play word games. Maybe you as a person lives somewhere else other than the brain but the vast majority of us reside within our brain, ever wonder why is a person is deemed to be Brain Dead that they are usually allowed to die, it is because Elvis has Left the House.
