Should the Church change to reflect modern society?

    Self-righteousness is what leads to 'spiritual suicide'. We should try to rid ourselves from it, so that we don't end up like the NT-pharisees. Unfortunately many of us Christians come across just like them. They may find that Mt. 21:31b applies to them:
    "Truly I say to you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you."

    As I said earlier, we are now under a 'new & better' covenant of Relationship and not under the old Law.

    Agreed, Pharasetical Christians still want to walk after the Law and measure themselves as to it----that produces self-righteousness and a hard heart!

    And as scripture says, "All things are possible with them that believe." And nothing is impossible with God....as in salvation of: the rich man, or ????????'s!

    I'll leave judgment to God and try to' temper' His word with the Spirit in Love...<wink>
