I got lucky. My Wednesday was magically changed into my Friday yesterday by the scheduler in our company.

So today is my Saturday. Slept-in. Ran errands.

Now I get to go play poker at my favorite poker house.

I have 2 days off now and they came early.

Finally tried a Martini did ya.
A mere One Martini lunch.

Did you know or care to know that a recent report
conducted by doctors found that men over 90 have a
better chance or reaching that age if they imbibe a drink or 2
each day.Which also explains why over the years one may have
heard a doctor prescribe a drink of alcohol each day in order to
thin the blood.
Whereas posting on a message board ... May not.
Thin the blood.More like thin one's skin.Making one
too sensitive to aspects of human nature ... like personality.

Ahhh yes, coffee...

 

Today (Tue 3/6/2 0 1 8 is my Sunday.

So I don't need coffee today.

My shifts this week will all be swings (6 pm to 3 a.m.) so I don't need coffee for those either.

It's the early risers (4 a.m.) or the overnighters (11 pm to 7 a.m.) that I need the coffee for. On other days I detox from the coffee.

 

My new enlightened view of birds is that they are simply fresh meat for my cat.

Whenever I come home and there are feathers everywhere then I know the cat is perfectly content.

 

Cats are truly the most beautiful creatures on the Earth.

They have been here for about 20 million years, longer than dogs and way longer than people.

 

For breakfast today -- yogurt and nuts.

To drink -- orange juice.

 

My Sunday is my day for a long hot bath. And today as aforementioned is my Sunday.

I start the bath with boiling water from the stovetop to make a steam room out of the bathroom.

Then with the tub a quarter full of boiling water and the bathroom thick with steam, I add tap water to cool the bath down to tolerable heat in the 90F's.

This soaks off a week's worth of grime and B/O and makes you really clean.

Lavender detergent body wash adds a fragrance of flowers to your corpus delicti.

And a good shampoo cleans the bugs and flakes out of your hair too.

Takes a while to heat up all the water, but it is one of the first things I do on my weekly day off.

During the rest of the week a duck shower or sponge bath is sufficient afterwards.

Most people do not understand that showering does not get anyone really clean. You need to soak in a bath to get really clean.

Very relaxing too.

 

You bought one them battery operated cat toys with the mouse
noises.Dint ya.

 

It is like a non-native in Florida trying to pronounce Choctawhatchee. If nothing else it will put a smile on your face.

How come no one ever says ... Bad morning ... ain't it.
Kinda so-so morning.
I've seen better mornings.

then I'll just take a nutter day,is all.

Sorry, dumplin, but you don't get another day. Wednesday it is. 7 more days til Pi. 8 more days til Ides. Cant wait, huh?

- French toast with pure maple syrup

Then going back to work in 5 hours for another swing shift until midnight.

To verify:
