    Missed your waffles this morning, OT... went out for breakfast after church. Guess what I had? Chicken-fried steak, eggs & hash browns. Only fitting after Cowboy Church!

    Speaking of CC, it was a great service today and not only did dad & GS go with me, my niece & nephew met us there and went out to breakfast with us afterwards. Great Sunday. I think I'm finally getting the 'spirit'.

    Anyone who's interested can read about the service here. Wonderful way to start a new week! :sun:

    Glad that you had a great time with your family. I tend to agree with what the preacher was saying. Although I do not belong to any organized religion, nor do I condemn anybody for going to any church. I personally believe that everyday is christmas and every day is a birthday. That way I give thanks each and every day for all of the many blessings I have in my life. And especially for having Linda in my life sharing it with me. And now I also give thanks for all of the wonderful people that I have met here on this forum So to all here I wish a very safe and merry holiday season.

    Thank you Smartie. But you know what, I think that the friendships that have been formed here are truly great. It seems like I have known most of you for a long time now. And I count all of you among the many blessings that I have been given.

    Also in my avatar is now the picture of yet another " volunteer " to help me with my canpaogn.

    Well here it is again, monday. Last night I told Linda that I wanted to slep right on through monday and not wake up until it was tuesday. Well she woke me up anyways. Darn, darn and darn.

    Anyways here is your breakfast this morning. It is fritatta which is a fancy name for an omelett. So try and enjoy it folks cause it is really good. Have a great day. Tomorrow Linda starts two weeks of her vavation time.

    Howdy.
    Trouble getting in gear this fine morning too? Not even the fritatta and the coffee are helping.
    THe sun is shining, and I feel like I shoulda stayed in bed...where its warm and cozy. Yes, that's it. Enjoy the sunshine from the comfort of your bed, esp on Mondays. Even da boys loss is easier to take from there. Ughh, I think.

    LOL...I might bring back some seashells from the beach! My daughter says it's one of the most beautiful beaches she's ever been to.

    I'm in need of some fun, I tell you what. This holiday season is getting me down for some reason.

    LOL, it's the New Year's Eve I'm dreading. Seems like EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD will be partying except me. I know that's not true, but still, I feel left out! :crazybonkers:

    I am not partying on New Years I never do. I do cook blackeye peas, rice and hog jowl on New Years Day(Southern tradition..Angedras) and that is as close to celebrating as I get..:mrgreen:
