    Good afternoon all. Talk about a run of good luck. I have had all kinds of "nice" volunteers offer to help me with my campaign and now this group of them just came in. Is this just great or what. What a nice bunch of kids.

    Good morning everybody. Time to be up and about. So hop into the shower and get dressed cause it is time for breakfast. Our temps here got up to 31 yesterday and right now it is 6 above. Yep, we have a heat wave going on. I plan to enjoy it as much as I can. Have a great day everybody. And before I forget, Today is the first day of Linda's 2 week vacation so I may be sleeping in sometimes. See y'all in the funny papers.

    g'mornin, OT and thx for the spread! I was stuffing jalapenos at 5:30 this morning. Yeah, I coulda done it last night, but after making the tortilla pinwheels, was too tired to tackle another project! Everything turned out great, even if I did forget the platter to put 'em on and had to turn around and go back home to get it.

    *deep breath*

    OK, I'm here now... let the feasting begin!!!

    She got medicine and is feeling a little better no thanks to that dirty germ spreading Papawahal.
    'Course she didnt exactly say it like that. But you get what Im saying. lol
    Poor Kimi...although didn't her handsome marine Davey Crockett type husband, nurse her back to health with his delicious homemade potato soup last time?

    Pot-luck lunch was AWESOME!! We had ham, brisket, pistachio salad, corn salad, homemade mac & cheese, spinach dip, cheese grits, my tortilla pinwheels & peppers and 3 different kinds of cake. *burp*

    Oh yeah, and there's a lady playing a harp in the lobby downstairs.

    Purty dang Christmasy around here!

    Well I am finally up. Wish I had stayed in bed cause it is now snowing again and is expected to continue through tomorrow night. Now all I have to do is get some coffee in me and then I will be set for the day. Seeing as I have all of my shopping done for xmas already. The tree is up and we got all of the fixings for xmas dinner already in the freezer, I can just relax and laugh at all of you bums running around like chickens with your heads cut off trying to get things done. Actually I had everything done over a week ago.
