Lol. I doubt smoking outside kills anyone but the smoker You can go crazy in some things. And being wimps we have imo .

Death always wins and you can create a miserable world in trying to escape the inevitable. In the grand scheme living a few more years is human folly .

As Dickinson wrote in her poem ..Because I could not stop for Death , he kindly stopped for me...

    So true.

I find the old unhealthy days a better way to live . Having been lucky enough to experience both worlds .

You doubt wrong. There is no science that agrees with you. You can go crazy denying science.

There are few rules and regulations that prevent people from killing themselves. So have at it.

He probably means you were having more fun while you were killing yourself...

Today we live longer, but generally having less fun doing it

    I cannot argue with that...

Some years the experts say coffee isnt bad then it becomes bad!

Coffee is so dangerous that people have to be buried in mass graves!

I think the hysterical anti coffee folks are nuts. Just like the nuts who forbid people from smoking outside .

Far more lethal than coffee is sugar. I drink my coffee black. Cowboy style .

I smoke one cuban cigar once a year with one scotch single malt or cognac . It is a great pleasure and epicurean delight .

Plus never trust any person without a vice ! Most have dark closets and molest children or have sick mental affections.

. Everything, even substances that are normally are good for you, become unhealthy in excess......what’s so hard to understand ? Absolutely nothing wrong with sugars.....in moderation. Nothing wrong with smoking either, but effects are cumulative without time between them. Moderate consumption of alcohol for many is associated with living longer.

Obesity and related diabetes isn't just eating the the wrong foods, it’s not eating the right foods first.

Oh sure. Smoking a “ good” cigar is so much more fun then breathing fresh salt air while out for a sail...not. People are conditioned to like just about everything that makes money for someone else.

You and everyone else who falls for money making bad habits that shorten your life are being played like “ suckers”.....

I suppose the more vices someone has, the more trustworthy they are ?

I prefer my fresh air on the golf course, myself...

I'm a complete non-smoker, so don't lump me in your boxes.... I was merely trying to make the point that people don't seem to be much happier today than they were 40/50 years ago, let are living longer... There's gotta be some correlation there...

They aren’t happier because....they are 50 years older.....50 years ago, more older people were dead.
