If that automatically makes him great guy by your standarts - then he is a great guy. As for Crimea - I will not be discussing events around Crimean Republic in this thread, there are threads discussing them - be welcome to go into any of them.
Lets hope his billionaire son can support better geopolitical objectives that will protect, preserve and guide Europe, America, and the rest of the Western, advanced, modern, industrialised and to some extent tolerant free world onto a trajectory that will be prosperous.

You are making an accusation therefore that requires proof in order to establish guilt. Proof of guilt to substantiate an allegation is warranted. Proper words is - president. That is official title. Being it legit by our constitution or not, approved by population or not, this is none of your business - never was, and never will. This my country, and it is up to me and my fellow citizens to be solving it's issues. For now - and until next elections - he is a president. He is there to stay, and so we have to deal with him. His words matter, his actions matter, and he is a man that respresents our country - whether people like it, or not. In less than two years his term expires, but until now - his words matter. And accusing him of being nazist, or killer, or anything else without evidence - is an assault against my country. Because without evidence - it is a lie, and a dangerous lie, that may give some individuals delusion of having moral highground and right for use of violence against my country and nation, up to use of weapons of mass destruction, like it happened in Hiroshima and Nagassaki. The attitude USA media posesses, vast influence over the NATO military alliance, that posesses equipment capable of negating nuclear arsenal of RF, the tendency of USA to launching invasions in sovereign states ruled by 'dictators' despised by citizens of USA - people, that actually capable of directly influencing USA government's decidions through elections, referendums and other democratic procedures - but allow president after president to put taxpayers money in financing of expanding NATO, as well as commencing military invasions in various states, - all that serves as evident threat to global peace, to health, property and lives of people in various countries, including mine. With all compassion towerds your wasted good inentions - the attitude of 'anti-dictator army' did USA no good, but sent tens of thousands of human beings into graves more efficiently, than any of the 'dictators' whose support gets only reinforced the more USA shows it's militant tendencies, basically leaving people only choise between their 'dictator' or war. ...so, basically - I recommend to forget that attitude, and stop allowing your government get into internal business of foreign countries - we can deal with them without you, citizens of any country can.
Your country proved how well you could deal with them in afghanistan. How did that end? And you should take your own advice- telling the USA not to meddle with foreign power structures is COMPLETELY ironic given Russias recent history with the Ukraine and the mid east. And when a dictator is in power, there is only one choice- his. Which more often than not is war. You are naive in thinking there is no human cost for freedom.
My country was not present in Afganistan, unless you mean Afgan war that ended in 1989, where military of USSR was present. Russian Federation does not equals Soviet Union, as United States of America do not equal NATO. If my statements about necessity of following to the letter the international laws and respect sovereignity of other states are naive and wrong - say so. Then - you are welcome to create petition for exclusion of your country for United Nations.

Of course, you are welcome to actually read his entire article and refute all of the points he makes in it, if you think you can.. You know, the "conspiracy theory" invalidation technique is not as compelling as it used to be--The Dem response to Trump's election cast light on many areas, on of them being the investment Dems have in globalism and even NWO progression.
