States seceding from the USA

Questions:

Are you ACTUALLY advocating violence?

Do you want to endure the death and destruction that ensues with war here in America? (Yes, hundreds of thousands would die in a civil war, life would SUCK tremendously and rebuilding the nation into something decent would take a couple hundred years.)

People like to say they acknowledge and realize the lessons of history; sadly, I think many romanticize the same.

Having the expectations of what should be, is a destructive line of thinking and is unchangable, unadaptable, it cannot grow or expand, or even become what is needed to be for here and now. It is the failure of the masses to innovate and the failure of the government to change for the better and the failure of those who reside in ideology to become better individuals capable of true independent thinking. So join me in the fight against immutable expectations and judgments. Let us shed our belief in good and bad and look for what is best for the beniefit for all that exist.

 

And paying fair market price for all federal building and land...if the Fed is even willing to sell that is.

If a state were to secede would you advocate or condone violence being used against them or would you support letting them secede peacefully?

 

You have a Constitutional backing for that?

Because the Constitution specifically says that the US government can establish forts, armories, ports, roads, etc and that implies ownership of the land those places are on.

 

So long as they don't lay a finger on property belonging to the People of the United States or expect free transit through US territory, then they are free to go.

 

I think certain things would be worth fighting for. Even so, I think "secession" itself is VERY extreme to suggest at this point.

You might want to check out the Northwest Ordinance (you can find it on the web & in any history book). You might want to learn some U.S. history. Hey, just a thought.

No red states are going to secede, they're far to dependent on the government dole. Almost all welfare is given to the people in red states. Half of Florida is on Social Security. Without Social Security and tourism from the northerners, Florida would wither and die. All those dumb rednecks and hillbillies in West Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia, and Oklahoma, are welfare dependents, because they are too uneducated to get any job other than McDonald's, and they're too lazy to pick crops. The seceders on this thread are just talking out their arses. They're probably on welfare themselves.

 

Get over it people. I am so tired of this "I hate Obama" drive. If you check his record he is no where near a socialist. He has had more drone attacks than Bush. He has deported more people. But these people just don't care. It is all about hating him so much that they would vote to leave their own country. It is crazy. Let those who sign it opt out. No taxes no government support. If their house is on fire too bad. They need to turn on their own hose. If they are having a heart attack drive themselves to the hospital. But don't drag you whole state into it. Just because you and a few thousand idiots happen to live in a certain state doesn't mean the whole population of the state is as stupid. We are the "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" We are not the collective, or the grouping, or the gathering states of America. Grow the hell up.

On a second note I would have no problem at all if we allowed Texas to secede. That I think would not only make our nation stronger but also it would increase the IQ of the whole country.
