    I was born in 1944

Trump is hands down the worst president in my lifetime. Not even close.

A truer set of conditions having never occurred to the democratic party who, as we constantly document here, are the catchers of the dependent. Their plantation doesn't run without those who they can exploit. A safety net, for sure, but not one that ensures long term structural poverty. But hey, without the poor to beat up on, how ever will elites make themselves feel better?

That is you example of how he "fractured this nation to its core"?

He was just sympathizing with an upset group after a tragedy happened. How anyone took offense to that is ridiculous.

Its a totality of things he did, I listed many and you ignored it. I don't really care either way, Obama is gone, he sucked, and he can never poison our system again in any official capacity without diminishing the office and himself even more than his horrid time in office...

You only gave 1. And you can't possibly explain how what he said offended you or anyone in the least. Face it. You wanted the first black president to be an Uncle Tom to keep black people in check.

Nixon was a decent president overall. Watergate was a stupid, self-inflicted wound that doomed him.

If the exact same set of facts happened with a Democratic president, the media would have run interference and not reported it.

    Nixon was a geopolitical genius.

Nixon would make Vladimir Putin look like a checkers player while Nixon played chess on the geopolitical chessboard.

Well the way the FBI has been acting, I wouldn't want them in the Oval Office. It's pretty bad when you can't trust the Attorney General, FBI and the IRA, not including the past President/

Now I understand, it was Reconquista Socialist Sen Kevin de Leon who wrote this bill.

Kevin de Leon is one of the stupidest people in the universe.

A freaking bean burrito has a higher IQ that Kevin de Leon.

It was Kevin de Leon who told liberals that an AR can fire 3,600 rounds per minute and liberals believed him.

    • How good were the 10.9 million jobs under Obama?
      Money.CNN.com/2016/11/04/news/economy/jobs-under-obama/...
Nov 03, 2016 · CNNMoney breaks down what kinds of jobs have been created and ... Almost all of the job gains under President Obama have been in so-called service jobs,
The deep recession wiped out primarily high-wage and middle-wage jobs. Yet the strongest employment growth during the sluggish recovery has been in low-wage work, at places like strip malls and fast-food restaurants.

In essence, the poor economy has replaced good jobs with bad ones.
That is the conclusion of a new report from the National Employment Law Project, a research and advocacy group, analyzing employment trends four years into the recovery.

“Fast food is driving the bulk of the job growth at the low end — the job gains there are absolutely phenomenal,” said Michael Evangelist, the report’s author. “If this is the reality — if these jobs are here to stay and are going to be making up a considerable part of the economy — the question is, how do we make them better?”

The report shows that total employment has finally surpassed its pre-recession level. “The good news is we’re back to zero,” Mr. Evangelist said.

But job losses and gains have been skewed. Higher-wage industries — like accounting and legal work — shed 3.6 million positions during the recession and have added only 2.6 million positions during the recovery. But lower-wage industries lost two million jobs, then added 3.8 million.
    77 percent of 2013 jobs were part-time positions ...
    https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/aug/2/part-timer-nation...
Aug 02, 2013 · Fully 77 percent of positions added to the market in 2013 have been part-time, in contrast to the positive economic news making the media rounds, according to payroll reports released in recent weeks.

"There are now 1.2 million fewer jobs in mid- and higher-wage industries than there were before the Great Recession, according to data from the National Employment Law Project. In contrast, there are 2.3 million more jobs in lower-wage sectors than before the recession," according to CNBC. Nor is there the hoped-for renaissance in American manufacturing. We have some 300,000 fewer manufacturing jobs since President Barack Obama took office and 1.5 million jobs below the pre-recession level.

Barack Obama in all of 2008 was manifestly Not Vetted.
He had the 2nd Most Liberal voting record as a junior
senator.Bernie Sanders was the only U.S. Senator who had a
    more Liberal voting pattern {record}.
Barack Obama as State Senator in Illinois was The only Nay
vote on the Bill to Ban the practice of Infanticide.
Obama's 2008 Chicago Commie Campaign strategist and
Adviser { David Axelrod } made a huge deal by deeming all sorts
of things about his candidate { Obama } Off limits.
Axelrod { appears occassionally on CNN and Bill Maher's
Politically Incorrect } Made a big issue of Advertising Obama
    as a ... Moderate !

Despite being a crook, he was a genius AND had excellent geopolitical instincts. AS to going up against Putin, he'd do much much better than trump, that is for sure.

To early to pass judgement on Trump but not with Obama.

Obama gave Russia and Putin everything they wanted and Obama got nothing in return.

That's an amusing question coming from the people who are trying to tell us that what we witnessed over the course of eight years with Obama was not what we witnessed.

He was not only blatantly race agitating but also attempting to poison a potential jury pool and intimidate whatever judge might get assigned the case. A REAL president of all of the nation would have kept his mouth shut instead of deliberately toss fuel on a fire.

Nixon was effectively demonized. The first example of how to
besmirch a Republican President. The Left wasn't organized and
radicalized During Eisenhower.Even though in 1957 when Eisenhower
introduced his Civil Rights bill, the Majority leader was L.B.J. who
effectively made sure his Senate opposed it.Even J.F.K. as Senator
managed to lightly vote/support { in appearance only } for the '57 Civil Rights
    bill.
Nixon was also a very good Diplomat. Not bad piano player, also.
Obama is Good at virtually Nothing except his silver-tongued
    doublespeak.

I suppose I'm speculating when I say the sun will rise in the east tomorrow?

If you live long enough and have been carefully observing politics and the media for decades, you are able to spot trends and draw logical conclusions.

Speculation? Yes, but with a 99.9% accuracy rate.

The other side of the legitimate criticism is, would war have been preferred over international sanctions? Getting away with it, is called facts on the ground in Israel.

I have lived long enough to know entrenched confirmation bias is always 99.9% accurate. Must be a coincidence.

In my world, political views aren't black/white. If for example POTUS is guilty, then he's guilty. But at least give us the people, the decency of knowing what he's charged with(props to McCarthy for making that basic statement.) One that a true DAG should have been able to follow, but wasn't. Likewise, in terms of actual political action/accomplishments, there are some I disagree with, many I do agree with.

Overall Trump's been a solid president, and if not for #resistance(not his fault), we could've really been on a MAGA train.
