Trump is hands down the worst president in my lifetime. Not even close.

 

A truer set of conditions having never occurred to the democratic party who, as we constantly document here, are the catchers of the dependent. Their plantation doesn't run without those who they can exploit. A safety net, for sure, but not one that ensures long term structural poverty. The deep recession wiped out primarily high-wage and middle-wage jobs. Yet the strongest employment growth during the sluggish recovery has been in low-wage work, at places like strip malls and fast-food restaurants.

In essence, the poor economy has replaced good jobs with bad ones. That is the conclusion of a new report from the National Employment Law Project, a research and advocacy group, analyzing employment trends four years into the recovery.

“Fast food is driving the bulk of the job growth at the low end — the job gains there are absolutely phenomenal,” said Michael Evangelist, the report’s author. “If this is the reality — if these jobs are here to stay and are going to be making up a considerable part of the economy — the question is, how do we make them better?”

The report shows that total employment has finally surpassed its pre-recession level. “The good news is we’re back to zero,” Mr. Evangelist said.

But job losses and gains have been skewed. Higher-wage industries — like accounting and legal work — shed 3.6 million positions during the recession and have added only 2.6 million positions during the recovery. But lower-wage industries lost two million jobs, then added 3.8 million.

That's an amusing question coming from the people who are trying to tell us that what we witnessed over the course of eight years with Obama was not what we witnessed.

 

He was not only blatantly race agitating but also attempting to poison a potential jury pool and intimidate whatever judge might get assigned the case. A REAL president of all of the nation would have kept his mouth shut instead of deliberately toss fuel on a fire.

If you live long enough and have been carefully observing politics and the media for decades, you are able to spot trends and draw logical conclusions.

I have lived long enough to know entrenched confirmation bias is always 99.9% accurate. Must be a coincidence.

 

In my world, political views aren't black/white. If for example POTUS is guilty, then he's guilty. But at least give us the people, the decency of knowing what he's charged with(props to McCarthy for making that basic statement.) One that a true DAG should have been able to follow, but wasn't. Likewise, in terms of actual political action/accomplishments, there are some I disagree with, many I do agree with.

Overall Trump's been a solid president, and if not for #resistance(not his fault), we could've really been on a MAGA train.
