If the Democrats and Liberals did not want to give them free health care, free housing and the like; it would be less of a problem.

Those not qualifying for refugee status, should be returned to their Country. We American citizens will pay for that but it will be cheaper than supporting them the rest of their lives.

We need to care for our own. We need to stop paying for private prisons to house illegal criminals. The Democrats need to stop protecting illegals and start supporting our Citizens.

We need to stop putting drug addicted citizens in Prison, but then turn private Prisons into drug treatment Centers.

Non-violent offenders should be released from prison and jail to a treatment facility. Their record wiped clean so they can get a job and resume with their life. People with addictions are not criminals. I guarantee you they want help. But once entrapped in the system, even pArents will!ing to pay for a treatment program cannot because the probation programs don't allow it.

Most Court orders require probation that is costlt, drug tests that are costly and do nothing to help the individ.

it makes money for the State, County; does nothing for the addicted. And, makes money for the drug treAtment programs, many run by ex-offenders. Many a!lowing the offender to get drugs. These programs paid by tax payers.

The courts should release offenders with addictions to DEAL programs when their family can pay..

In Texas, the SafeP program, standing for safe prison, works far better than the private treatment programs run by past addicts.

I know, because my 31 year old son was addicted to Prescription drugs. We wanted to get him help but couldn't because the Texas law let the court continue to postpone his preliminary hearing for two years. ( he was arrested at 29). He never had a chance to plea.
He died two years later, his life destroyed, unable to keep good jobs for which he was hired once the Corporate Headquarters discovered his pending charge.)

Mind you he had pain in his knee that he was prescribed a know addictive drug for. And since I have worked in heath care for over 30
years as my Surgeon Husband,
We know that there comes a time you have have to cut these drugs off.

But there are crooked Doctors that partner with crooked Pharmaces that take advantage of these patients.
YOU can no just cut these patients off! They are addicted. They will try to find substitutes for the drug, illegal ones.

The Government knows this. Putting an addicted person on monthly drug testing as a part of probation is STUPID.

 

You could always stop working towards that goal.

I'm just curious. Is it because of the indoctrination that you recieved? Did you learn the hate from your parents? Peer pressure? Is it some cool factor? Do you see yourself as fighting the forces of some imaginary evil?
