Nonsense. They're entering illegally because they aren't getting anywhere near ports of entry if they can help it

    https://ticotimes.net/2019/04/12/how-costa-rica-is-affected-by-us-aid
This article may shed some glimmer of light on how they can do it.
How does US aid impact Costa Rica?

Though it receives far less than many other Central American countries, Costa Rica alone has benefited from more than $1.6 billion in US assistance since the 1940s, as detailed in a 2012 publication from the State Department.

“I believe I speak for most of us who were responsible at one time or another for US assistance here when I say that aiding Costa Rica was good foreign policy,” former US Ambassador to Costa Rica Frank McNeil wrote.

That money, provided through programs such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has been utilized across a number of infrastructure, health, education and economic development initiatives in Costa Rica.

Take it "out" of the system?

I see... You are arguing from a Marxist axiom. What's more, from a Marxist-Maoist position. The concept that resources are finite within a given system and, therefore, should be distributed equally. This is why Mao closed China from any outside contact. So nobody could "take out" their resources. I never expected that from you.

I disagree, though. I subscribe more to the capitalist precept that resources can be created according to the output of each individual. So a worker never takes out of the system more than they put in, according to the capitalist model. The only ones who could do that are those who control big capitals.

I respect your ideology but I guess my capitalist views and your extreme leftist views are irreconcilable.

Have it your way, I have a more logical view of foreign workers sending the lions share of what they earn here back to Mexico as a negative for the U.S. and reportedly a PLUS for Mexico.. I think numbers wise, it pretty much defeats any consensus you might believe about the benefits migrants bring to the U.S. economic table ..

Yes. They do it by spending on those things, instead of on heavy militarization, like the other Central American countries. And like we do.

So you have no idea how growth and production work in a capitalist society... huh! Pity!

I could try to explain again that for those $1500 you mention, the lady you saw had to produce...probably more than $15000 (or some sum of money that is much greater than $1500, depending on what industry she works for) for our economy that simply would not have been produced if that lady had stayed in Mexico. Or that the only ones who send money abroad that does not produce any wealth for our country are millionaire investors.

So, in a capitalist economy, this is by design. Mexico receives $1.500, we get $15K If the lady wasn't here. We get Zero.

It would be useless to try to explain this to you, given that you obviously don't know how a capitalist economy works. I say again: it's a pity.

But even if I did explain this, the mental attitude of people who prefer receiving nothing to receiving $15K, so long as our neighbor doesn't get $1500, is the type of mentality that Trump corrupts his followers' minds with.

Stop it! Refugees are NOT a problem!

They started as illegal aliens. Then they were labeled "undocumented." Now they are refugees. Only in politics can semantics affect change.

I think so, well after reading some of your Shtufff anyway! I now understand that illegal and legal immigrants working and living in 2-3 family dwelling and from research sending home in excess of 28 billion a year to Mexico is a intricate part of our economy ;)

Personally I'm sold bro! After a few serious rips on my Yocan with a fresh dab of Dino treat, everything you and the left around the country say actually make sense! I'm also aware/enlightened as to how the leftist organization has succeeded in selling/implanting this sort of free spirited thought..

Although! One to many dabs and I actually think I'm communicating with my cats, but I'm still adjusting to some of these Bay area organic mental enhancement treatment.. I also aspire to be a professional propagandist someday too, and I almost have my self convinced of it now ;)

Ignoring the problem will not work

Resignation to a proposal that is reminiscent of the utterly horrible “final solution” will not work either

This is a problem requiring Logical reasoning and intelligence and Perhaps someone with the IQ of Archimedes will have a “Eureka” moment while splashing water in a bathtub

That's about as disingenuous as it gets. You ignore the fact that 80% of all claims of asylum are denied, and most of those are only made after the invaders have entered illegally. If the asylum seekers and refugees do it legally you won't see anyone complain. We understand some people do deserve to be here, provided they do it legally. If you cross our border illegally then try to claim asylum or refugee status, you should first be fully prosecuted for the illegal entry and sent back to the end of the line...

I use all of the above colloquially. But it's true that, strictly speaking, "illegal" doesn't describe them properly. And I include "asylum seekers" and "refugee applicants" in refugees. Which wouldn't be correct in a strictly legal sense. But we all talk loosely here.

    Show evidence and source.

I'll help you out.. You won't. Because it's false.

    And you talk about "disingenuous"?

When will the right learn that repeating wingnut media talking points always... invariably.... makes them look [XXXXXXX] (insert a word that I'm not sure I'm allowed to say.

Ummmm Well there is this ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯
So I suppose Dispondent is actual truthful in his claim according to Checkyourfact and literally a dozen other sites with the same data!

    CNN
US asylum denial rates, by nationality with Mexico being the highest at 88%.

Projection is strong in this one....

So now you're whining because you tried to be funny on a post and can't deal with the fact that it backfired?

That makes it even more hilarious!

If you are having trouble with the graph take the link I provided, you claim the poster number of 80% was wrong, when in fact his number was accurate and you were wrong.. And that was after claiming he was disingenuous, I found it to be a little insulting after I looked up the number! I really thought you would have apologized to him but as they say "hope springs eternal":no::no::no:
