Stop the "Climate Change is Real" brow beating

4 decades ago Democrat Jimmy Carter declared the world was running out of oil - and the Democrat scare tactic was claiming the same. Now the rant is against their being so much oil.

The Democratic Party sells fear as their tactic to grab government power. Claiming we were desperately running out of oil forever, vast regulations that obliterated the American auto industry were imposed.

Their fear mongering for decades of an ice age, now is fear mongering of warming and again calling for massive government regulations to stop the glut of oil production - production they ranted was impossible prior to this.

What we have learned is that the Chicken Little hysteria of Democrats - always contradicting the prior hysteria - is 1.) always to justify more government power and less rights and 2.) false.

 

Humans contribute less than 1/10th of 1% of what causes atmospheric warming. For this, climate change cultists would destroy civilization.

 

I meant specifically for the statement that the natural output is increasing.

 

Using the Volsted Ice Core Data, we see that the last time the CO2 concentration rose by 80 points, which is the amount that it rose from 1900 to 2000, the timeframe was approximately 10,000 years.

I lay out several reasons in the post that you quoted, but the most explicit reason is the fact that scientists are able to theorize, measure, and analyze the potential causes of climate change. The only data point that matches the current warming trend with any degree of confidence is the CO2 concentration.

You need to get in touch with Dr. John Christy and explain to him that you've figured everything out about climate change and CO2 levels...

Christy doesn't dispute that AGW is occurring. His complaints are political in nature...not scientific

 

They'll have to relocate whether AGW is real or not, so what are you doing about that?

No. He agrees that AGW is real but he doesn't want to do anything about it because he says it would be too expensive.And he understates the effects and over states the costs

Don't even start with your BS. I live 3 miles from the breakers on the beach in Florida. There is NO rising water. We have lunar high tides, low tides. we have northeasters that erode sand and beaches. Unjettied inlet channels shift annually, net result is the channel has moved 100 yards one way and next year it's back where it was. It's called nature. Just like climate change, it shifts and moves and never stops. Stop being Chicken Little. It gets old, and no one with half a brain listens or cares.

 

LOL!! I grew up during the cold war. When I was about 8 or 9 years old a neighbor family built a bomb shelter in their side yard. Thanks for reminding me about that, next time I go back home I'll check it out. I'll bet some killer buds have been grown in that thing over the years.

The Tobacco special interests tried to pull the same stunt when it came to disparaging the science that proved the connection between smoking and cancer. Now it is the Fossil Fuel special interests trying the same disinformation scam only it is not working any better than the failed attempt by the Tobacco industry.

Glaciers are disappearing, coral reefs are dying, species are going extinct, all from a few degrees Centigrade of warming temperatures over the past few decades. How anyone can keep denying this is beyond me, but if we do nothing, we will be extinct too.
