The Insurrection That Wasn't Until It Was

There was no insurrection. The left call it that because they are using a mostly peaceful protest to their political advantage by exaggerating it way out of proportion. If there was an insurrection people would be charged with insurrection. Not one has. But people have been charged with stealing beer out of Pelosi's fridge.

For four years we were warned by the left that Trump's ambitions were to be a dictator and yet, even though Trump questioned the results of the 2020 election (as Democrats had done for four years), it is the left who have been abusing their "oversight" powers to conduct kangaroo investigations, wanting to consolidate power by eliminating the filibuster, add blue states to the union, add seats to the supreme court, and using the pandemic as a guise for taking people's rights away with the promise that once the pandemic is over, people's rights would be restored.

Actually, they are investigating it. If you voted for Trump, you lost the right to call anyone stupid and corrupt.....Trump is insane. You also can't say the FBI was involved with the riot and say they investigated it. Can't have it both ways. They were not involved and their investigation(s) are still ongoing.

 

You do know that the investigation is still ongoing......right? No one has been charged....yet.

If you do not think what occurred on Jan 6,2021 was an insurrection then you have not read the definition of the word. First they swarmed all over the outside of the capitol until they forcibly gained access as they smashed windows and opened doors to allow more to pour in as they used weapons to strike and attack capitol police as they ransacked offices and stole equipment. It was an armed insurrection by terrorists.

You convinced me - it was grossly exaggerated, because what happened? A violent crowd screaming 'Hang Mike Pence' fought with police and broke into the Capitol wanting to change the legally elected president.
Everyone knows it was not serious. In Banana Republics it happens very often. No doubt it was the Democrats, Antifa, Soros and Anti-Christ fault.

 

It was a RIOT ginned up by the Orange Oaf as a last ditch effort to postpone certification long enough to force the election into the House. Trump should be prosecuted.

I don't knw anyone who defends it, the anger and violence, I certainly don't. But I do understand why it happened, and it was not an insurrection. Calling it such is as idiotic as called everything even slight right-of-center Fascism. It's a vulgar political tactic.

And Bernie ginned up one of his supporters calling for a revolution and that supporter went on to shoot up Republicans. Bernie should be prosecuted.

 

The Dems and their compliant media have memory-holed that incident...never really happened.

 

Our democracy was being challenged. Rioters tried to storm a federal court building, the pillar of democracy. They committed acts of violence against the police and burned down police stations. They also took over swaths of territory from the US and turned them into lawless zones. Why isn't the House going after these people? Instead, the left refused help from the nation guard to defend our democracy and then turned around and actually bailed out rioters. The wall of moms defended the rioters while the rioters tried overthrowing our democracy and the left cheered the wall of moms on.
