    Can Dearie demand that Trump's lawyers answer his request whether the documents have been declassified as Trump has publicly claimed?

    "Defense lawyers for Donald Trump are set to meet in a Brooklyn courtroom for their first conference with Judge Raymond Dearie, the independent arbiter tasked with reviewing documents seized from the former president’s Florida residence.

    In a brief order Friday, Judge Dearie said the lawyers should meet for a preliminary conference Tuesday and asked them to submit agenda items by the close of business Monday."

    But it's not just Trump that could be indicted, his cronies that helped him are also being investigated.

    A clean sweep of indictments all in one day would be perfect, to use one of Trump's favorite words, Trump can go first or last.

    I highly doubt anything will take place before the Nov elections.

    Actually Dearie is wise to the corrupt DOJ .... He was duped into signing off on one of the fake FISA warrants that the DOJ illegally presented evidence to...

    A clean sweep of indictments all in one day of the corrupt DOJ would be perfect

    Another literacy fail. I never "declared" any such thing. I addressed someone else who made that assumption. Try reading the thread. Shouldn't be too much to ask for.

    Does he LONG for violence? Yes, he's admitted that. But I disagree the the assumption that he would ever engage in it. He's a coward.

    Well, they certainly wouldn't still be working for Trump if they weren't corrupt and more focused on irrational delaying tactics than they are on the law.

    I don't believe the wire tap was deemed unconstitutional and I don't believe Dearie understood the data on which he relied was valid. the reason he was selected by trump is because they believed that because he was stung by the sloppy Warrant he would be skeptical of the FBI and be on Trump's side.

    No, Dearie is on the side of the law, and if the law is on Trump's side that will help Yrump but if it's not it won't. Frankly, I doubt that the law is on Trump's side in this case.

    Yep. Trump and his followers will start attacking Dearie in the next 24 hours or so, despite Trump's legal team suggesting him and despite his request for a Special Master being granted.

    If they were actually declassified, sure. Easily. No security clearance would be required. Any of us on the forum could easily have access to those same documents with a FOIA request.

    This, among a whole host range of issues. People think this is a "gotcha" moment, but it really isn't. There's no reason for Trump to raise the issue of classification until it's brought up in court. Dearie might think he can do so, but he's not the judge appointed to this case. He's the Special Masters appointed to this case. It's not for him to know what Trump claims is privilege, and what isn't. All he has to do is determine what documents were classified or not, and then the case's litigation will continue from there.

    The job he was hired for was specifically to determine if any of the documents were under privilege. That was the whole ****ing point.
