Blue's policy is demonstrably worse for the Environment than Red. It is not that Red is some pillar of Environmental concern - but that their current path is far better than Blue.

Not building pipelines is really bad for the Environment in a number of ways.

1) Building pipelines does not change the carbon equation by one drop of fuel.
2) Not building pipelines A) increases Ocean Pollution - the #1 environmental threat B) increases industrialization which is horrible for Ocean Pollution and increases the Carbon equation.

So not only does this Blue policy hurt the US economically - it is horrible for the environment.
