It is always a choice between bad and worse. That's what happens with power seeker vs power seeker.
Two things I recommend. 1st read up on the condottieri period in Italy and then watch the movie 'Hero' in set toward the end if a similar period in China. Then understand why the Hero do not kill the would be emperor when he had the chance...

 

No more like the DNC was forced to change their platform because it has gone full socialist.....the RNC outlined clearly in their resolution why they simply adopted much of the 2016 platform...1) lack of delegates being able to meaningfully get together and discuss because of the Chinese Virus 2) the party is moderate, middle of the road, and the platform reflects that. The RNC has been taken over by radicals like the DNC, so very little is needed to change. 3) The policies of the Trump Admin have been working....and will continue to work

3. Democrats allowing the take over of Seattle
4. Democrats running and brain dead candidate who can't find a coherent sentence with two hands and a flash light
5. Democrats support of BLM and Antifa at all cost
6. Democrats illegally tearing down statues because they think they know best
7. Democrats releasing rioters from jails to destroy property night after night
8. Democrats caught faking numbers on a virus for political reasons
9. Democrats refusing to allow their national guard to put down these riots
10. 4 years of fake accusations for political purposes
11. The fake claims of Kavanaugh being an alcoholic high school serial rapist
12. The fake claims about Trump being a Russian asset
13. The fake claims about the Covington Catholic kids being racist bigots
14. The fake partisan impeachment scam

A presidential election is always, at least in part, a referendum on the president, even if he's not running.

This time it's all about Trump, for all the obvious reasons.

It's hard to nail down swing voters, because they vote the weather. Whichever way the wind blows the day of the election, that's the way they vote.

Which isn't to say they are entirely brainless.

A recent poll of people that didn't like either candidate had a majority of them saying they would vote for Biden.

Sure, you can pick a number of nits with that, but it fits in with a lot of other polls that show Biden as the consistent front runner.

The problem with Trump's constant doubling down on the crazy is that people expect more. That's why the polls are consistent.

I would say just the opposite is true. Democrats have no party platform or even a candidate, it's all about Trump.

 

Trumps agenda is the Republican agenda. Simple as that.
