The war in Iraq was won. Iraq was safe, stable, and secure but Obama pulled all military, intelligence, and governance personnel out in 2011. It was one of the worst foreign policy blunders of all time. Thanks Obama.

 

There was no reason for the war criminals in the Bush crime family to destabilize Iraq in the first place. No WMD's...No Iraqi was involved in the 911 attack... No Al-Qaeda/ ISIS in Iraq until after Saddam.

The ME was stabilized (Iraq certainly was) after the surge. Obama's abandonment of Iraq claiming that the success in Iraq and the ME was one of the most significant accomplishments of the Obama foreign policy led to the carnage we see today.

BTW there were WMD's (and the capability to manufacture) found in Iraq. And AQI was defeated in Iraq. ISIS formed from the ~ 100 survivors of AQI who fled to Syria and started ISIS after Obama pulled out. What followed is a complete human tragedy.

 

He was just following the precedent set by Bush with Kemal Derwish.

The Bush's certainly sucked, but the Clinton's were worse. One of the very nice things about this election was telling both of them to go to hell.

 

Imagine had he actually done something. Pretty much every naval historian agrees that had the fleet sortied from Pearl Harbor, it would have been so outclassed that our losses would have been many times worse. Especially because any battleships disabled or sunk would have been lost in deep water as opposed to in port where all but 2 of them were able to be raised, repaired, and brought back into the fight.

i) Name the US citizen Bush incinerated, or even just killed, without trial or even charges.
ii) For extra credit, name their son that he also incinerated in a separate drone strike.

And don't get me wrong, Bush really sucked, you guys can have him and his dad, they clearly bat for your team, but you'll never provide a name for i) or ii) under Bush and I can provide both for Obama.

The upheaval started way before the BO administration supported some Seryan rebels. The results of the aural war is what created the condition for IISIS which fed into Syria. Russian support of the Syruan dictator is what made the upheaval bad in Syria. Russia and Iraq war is what cause all the problems in Syria and Iraq. Iran an ally of Russia added fuel to the fire.

That's funny. You would have us all believe that ISIS and the Syrian Civil War would have occurred if there were 25,000 US troops, intelligence personnel, and governance personnel in Iraq ?? You would have us all believe that control of Iraqi air space was not essential to the success of the ISIS invasion ?? You would have us all believe that Maliki would have replaced all the competent Sunni military leaders if BO had not pulled everybody out ?? You would have us all believe that the Iranians would not control Iraqi politics if we had stayed ??

 

The US had nothing to do with the Arab Spring of Libya. The Libyans hated Gadaffi for 40 years and they were inspired by the Arab Spring in Tunis.

The US doesn't have some magical power to control any countries in the ME or North Africa.

 

The US got rid of all competent Sunnis long before Obama took office. Bush broke down all existing institutions. between 2003-2004.
