Trump: ‘Republicans will not be voting’ if 2020 fraud isn’t ‘solved’

Well it's plausible that Trump's repetitious claims of electoral fraud depressed the Georgia Senate run-off vote enough to lose the Republicans 2 senate seats.

Well, not when it was such a big turn out for both sides.

 

When Trump was talking about 'fraud' for those 2 months before the runoff vote there was a lot of speculation whether that might depress Republican turnout because they'd think it was pointless to vote. And indeed, the polls shifted over those 2 months towards the dems. Correlation may not be causation, I realise, and I don't know if there's research that would give a clearer answer.

 

Generally speaking, the higher the turnout, be better for the left. When everyone is dissuaded for what ever reason, it favors the right.. They are just correlations just like repug admins have all the recessions. We’d be foolish to disregard either. As far as which cause each, there is little reason to care if you’re not a behaviorist just like if your not the baseball coach why you should like one player over another when the team wins. It’s an observed correlation and just considering using it, is worthwhile.

In fact, when he tells the truth and says they should get vaccinated then they boo him. They live for his crap.
No, if he tells them not to vote in protest they won't and Republicans will get smoked 75-25 across the board.
Fortunately, he will will deep in courts soon and maybe then the Republican party can seek out sane leadership. Yes you think it would be an easy victory.. but remember that "insurrection" on Jan 6th that was carried out with people taking selfies with cell phones?

What happens in the next one when they have all those scary assault rifles that your side hates? You really think it would be in this countries best interest to push it to a civil war? a war your side will get slaughtered? Extremism needs to be rejected on either side of the isle and that includes blocking measures to keep the voting transparent and free of fraud. Even if there really is no fraud, if half the population thinks there is, and your side is fighting to block measures to make the election more secure and transparent.. thats still half the population that thinks your side is cheating, regardless if your side is or isnt.

A real insurrection would be catastrophic for this country, more so for the left leaning side of things. Be carful what you wish for..

 

We are wishing Republicans listen to the Dear Glorious Leader and don't show up to vote in future elections. I fail to see how that plays out badly for Democrats...

Well 2/3 of the military support right wing ideologies so be careful counting on their support if things really go south. When I say catastrophic for the left I mean the lefts policy's will be wiped out.

When I say a "real" insurrection i mean they will use guns not cell phones. Forcing this country into a civil war should be avoided at all costs. Again if 50m well armed citizens have lost faith in the election process then the result of that would be terrible and it doesnt matter if they are 100% wrong in their belief. We are all Americans and we all need to figure out a way to coexist. So making the elections more secure and more transparent hurts this country how exactly?

why would that do anything? if you believe that there was massive fraud then why would anyone believe a random persons opinion?
Why not just try and make the elections more secure so that a large population of this country can have faith in the election process again?
Whats the worst that can happen? the elections are now extra extra secure? Great sounds like a win either way and a very small price to pay vs the possibility or a real insurrection Why would anyone be opposed to that?
