Homeland security supports the wall. Are you saying they don't? If you are, it's just another lie.

Actually, the rate of illegal immigration across the border is currently lower than it had been during the two years that a Republican-controlled Congress would not give Trump his "big, beautiful wall" that he had repeatedly promised Mexico would pay for.

Now giving Trump his $5.7 for his wall that most Americans do not want would result in years of litigation as Americans defended their private property rights against federal confiscations.

Congressional Republicans have ignored Trump's hysterical demand:

Which is completely false. All Republicans (almost all) are voting for a lot of border security money but the Democrats are blocking it. All we need is 10-11 so..... You are dead flat wrong. As usual. :)

Not watching. Actually speaking with real people and interviewing them. You see my job sometimes allows me to talk with many people from all walks of life to learn from the horses mouths. So my “supposed” preconceived notion is just realty. Sorry you’re not a part of it.

So it is was such an issue — a national emergency worth shutting the government down — why wasn’t it tackled on day 1, or even year 1? Year 2?

Why wait until after Democrats took the house?

Are you suggesting Trump has not made this an issue before this is your memory that poor?

No, I am saying why wait until Democrats are taking the house? Why not fix this huge national emergency on year one, year two?

The republican senate passed a funding bill unanimously in December that the republican house blocked, then the new Democrat house passed it and now mitch will not even let a vote occur. Only one thing has changed and that is trump.

He has been trying to get funding for the wall since day one.. Of course the D's do all they can to block it. So do Neo-cons like Paul Ryan and the now deceased McCain.

The ones that don't know it cost us all $2.6 Billion dollars a year just the provide a bed for illegal border crossers, not including Health care, food and legal fees.

For the same reason the Democrats didn't address immigration reform till December 2010, just days before the Republicans took control.

    That would be awesome!

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...y-order-to-include-7-billion-for-border-wall/

The White House is preparing a draft proclamation for President Donald Trump to declare a national emergency along the southern border and has identified more than $7 billion in potential funds for his signature border wall should he go that route, according to internal documents reviewed by CNN.

“The massive amount of aliens who unlawfully enter the United States each day is a direct threat to the safety and security of our nation and constitutes a national emergency,” a draft of a presidential proclamation reads.

“Now, therefore, I, Donald J. Trump, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C 1601, et seq.), hereby declare that a national emergency exists at the southern border of the United States,” the draft adds.

The draft was updated as recently as last week, a US government official told CNN.

Yea, defending Americans is morally superior to the Democrats who want illegals here to harvest votes. Trump has the moral high ground. :)

    Stings a bit, huh? ;)

I got the information directly from the border patrol, before they edited it last last year. Would you like a link that you won’t read?

The p-grabber's attempted extortion for his wall that most Americans don't want and the Republican Congress refused to fund for two years has failed.
