I doubt we know who ALL of them are, I don't doubt we have pretty good intelligence on them. I also think you've been watching a lot of TV/movies. We most likely cannot roll back our satellite footage and positively ID all in the attack. I mean, they may have worn masks which sadly defeat fancy satellite cameras still.

Not really killing us now. We don't know if these 9 people were targeted or not. For all we know they weren't trying to kill Americans at all. And while it doesn't matter much, these people were living in Mexico so they are also Mexican citizens. So if they were targeted, it may not have been for their American birth place.

But it will be when we go after them. Is that a reason not to? No, but it's a consideration you and others better make before you do something to make yourself feel bigger down south if you know what I mean.

I asked basic questions such as what is the scope of this and none of you can answer. Wiping off the face of the planet is rhetoric for a tweet or a cartoon villain, it's not a war strategy ever made by anyone who has actually managed a conflict.

 

I am an American. Yes, the military is "hamstrung" and Americans should oppose its use until rational laws regulating its use in warfare are enacted. Endless war and human sacrifice is not a strategy for victory.

 

Maybe they do. But the cartel probably operates a lot like the mob. You may know who they are, but that doesn't mean much. So what if we know who they are? What makes you presume that's all it takes to end the cartels? We've KNOWN who they are before and they are still around. This isn't a problem you can solve by shooting them. Do you know how I know this? Because they have been shooting at each other for DECADES and they are all still thriving. So don't arrogantly presume our shooting is any different to them. They aren't scared of our soldiers. They have soldiers, some have seen more "combat" than many of our troops. All have killed before, many of ours haven't. It's just not as simple as it's being made out to be as all. And it's certainly not a game of who has the bigger gun. It's a game that can cost many more lives if it isn't done right. And I have zero faith that Trump can do it right. He can't even build a wall right.

No, you can't be a Mexican citizen. Their immigration and naturalization process is much stricter than ours. Racist probably.

No. That's how you win a war. That's how we won WW1, WW2 and all the wars we did win. You kill them.

 

They will track the vehicles back to where they came from and know the location of the criminals. We have surveillance on our Southern Border and Northern Mexico at levels which would shock most Americans. There is no way they get away with it. I will make an avatar bet that the Cartel gets hit within 30 days by U.S. forces. Winner gets to choose the other person's avatar for 30 days. Do you want to test your belief in our inability to track them and hunt them down?

The drug trade happens, because Washington D.C. allows it to happen.

Did you read the article? All 9 victims had dual Mexico-US citizenship...so clearly not as racist as you would like it to be to suit your beliefs. Dang reality getting in your way again!

Oh really? So we won because we killed more of the bad guys in WW1 and WW2? And at the end, there was a tally sheet and the winner declared? First of all, we didn't kill all the Germans and Japanese and Italians. You know how I know? Because they still exist. Secondly, more Russians died in WWII than anyone. And they were on the winning side. You really don't read anything do you?

Look, I get it. You think the problem can be solved with shooting up the cartels. Fine, maybe it helps. But I promise you it won't make them go away. They will just adapt. They've done this before and nothing will change because Americans like drugs. We buy the most of them and until that changes, the cartels will NEVER go away. It's that simple. So shoot up all the people you like. If they are brown maybe you are OK with it given your false notions of Mexico in your posts above, but know that your way will kill innocent people and won't solve the problem. you can lie to yourself if you must, but that's reality.

Furthermore, it was maybe effective in Japan but not that much in Vietnam. Victory was won aswell because after the war the USA succeeded to discredit the nazis and the role of the japanese army after that.
The general Sun Tzu determined that to win a war, you must not only defeat the army but you must break their will to fight.

@vman12 Yes and no. After WW2, the soviet and the USA understood that they had to win the war in the spirits and had a large policy of "de-nazify" the german population. And Soviet Union was defeated in another way.

 

Then again, allowing the Mexicans to flee to our country is hardly helping matters either.. We, well lets be honest, LEFTIST are simply making matters worse by reducing opposition when we should be arming the sheep and helping take back their country..
