The worst part is how readily the frothing legions lap up everything he vomits out. He says something terrible happened yesterday in Sweden and the idiots instantly believe it. He comes out and says the terrible thing that happened "yesterday" was actually just some schmuck hawking his book on a television show and the morons eat it up. Nothing to see here. These aren't intelligent people.

Sadly my browser will not open the link because of redirects, can you please quote from the article the part that tells us specifically what happened "last night in Sweden"?

    Nothing did.

Trump didn't mean to suggest that something happened.

He was referring to a Fox News report about "refugee" violence in Sweden while listing off the consequences of Europe inundating itself with "refugees".

The "last night" part was a minor fumble, which he personally clarified, in that he watched the report "last night".

He fumbles a lot, that is my point. Trump is not a good orator and his lack of concision is detracting from his message. This is one reason that I do not support Trump, because words and facts matter to me, but they do not matter so much to Trump.

Perchance, and as you do know, we don't have anybody here who would fit this description, thank god.

See? Only trump apologists can truly decipher the meaning of his 3rd grade vocabulary. It's like religious nuts cherry picking parts of the bible to show how great it is while ignoring the rape, incest, and genocidal parts.

Sorry, you don't get to interpret what the orange idiot says. He plainly lied to try and prove a point. He's used to frothing morons at his rallies lapping up every bit of nonsense he spews. That's not going to work in his present position.

To be fair, most of those who watch Fox News are historically ignorant of the facts. A poll was done in the middle of the Iraq war and over 70% of those who watched Fox News believed that Iraq was directly responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

    Oh, I see.

And that is why he said, "...look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?”

Don't you people get embarrassed to have to defend that nonsense???

Wow, can you imagine if Trump had been the media, spreading that fake news around?

I had forgotten that. Of course, the Bushies' relentless efforts to conflate the disparate matters to serve their pre-determined fixation on invading Iraq were merely parroted by Fox. Despite the Trump labeling the Dub a "Liar!", some probably still have visions of WMD stockpiles dancing in their heads - despite the Dub finally being forced to concede that there were none, and that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. After the misinformation had served their agenda, the admission was not exactly timely, Dub!

Yes, it is a great relief to know that our Great Leader is staying up late at night to get inspired for more Twitter BS. He's certainly zapping away nicely with his tiny hands.

But ha, seeing that we went in anyway based on lies, why not just stay and get the rest of the oil Trump has been talking about?

"You look at what's happening in Germany. You look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden! Who would believe this? Sweden! They took in large numbers, they're having problems like they never thought possible."

OK - why aren't you claiming Trump thought there was a terrorist attack in Germany contemporaneous to his speech?
Why is he referring to them having problems in the current tense when the supposed incident was the previous night?
His words are far more consistent with his story than with your interpretation.

You guys are just making it easy for him to claim fake news. Get some integrity, because you're embarrassing me.

There are some big battles ahead to defend liberalism and you're just burning our credibility on flotsam.

How come I knew instantly he was speaking of the interview segment on FOX the night before? The one not about an attack that day but about how Swedish society is being upheaved and the crime that has grown so bad. Because maybe I heard the interview and those that had not immediately jumped all over this. And it's not an intelligence matter it's a matter of public record what's happening in Sweden although the current government which supports more immigration is now accused of withhold crime statistics it's gotten so bad.

But it was made clear almost immediately that was to what he was referring. That's the fact.

So why so you continue to misrepresent it for what it was?

Yes. look what happened in Sweden yesterday. Trump's mistake in the original quote was the use of the phrase "last night" - he actually meant "tomorrow."

I hope he lied. I fear he saw a brief clip on Fox and extended it in his own mind to represent a terror attack "Last Night".

And that fact was demonstrated quite clearly in Rinkeby the 90% Muslim suberb of Stockholm yesterday.

He went two Twitter right after, himself personally, and told us what he meant.

    It is a non-issue.

Why don't you quell your bigotry towards Trump and the Right and accept the fact that not everything that happens needs to result in level 10 mouth foam outrage?

Is this really worth investing countless hours of your life being outraged about?

See, here's the funny thing about the Left presuming themselves to be the "intelligent" and "educated" ones without actually being such.

I'm not interpreting what Trump said, the Left is.

Trump went to Twitter, himself personally, and told us what he meant.

People are allowed to clarify themselves in this country, and whats what he did.

The only ones engaged in interpreting are the Leftists in media who insists they know better what he meant than he did.

    How did you miss that?

    It was ...pretty obvious. :hmm:

It was indeed an interview segment. An interview with a person who made a movie about crime in Sweden.

With all the expertise he has at his disposal, you think it's OK that the President of the United States of America based his statement to the American people on an comment made by a movie producer being interviewed on a Fox TV show.
