    "Civil war" ???

Are you referring to the "Great Rebellion" or the "War Between the States" ?

. . . Trump supported a military overthrow of Libya. How is it "better" that he supported the same thing?

We've been repeatedly told that leftist/liberals will now become Bolton fans. Is there a single leftist/liberal anywhere on the forums who is willing to say here, on this thread, that hiring Bolton was a good idea and that they wish he was still around? Until we hear a yes, the entire Trumpist argument is based on a fantasy. I'll love seeing how this one turns out.

To which there are two flavors of conservative replies:

    1) The South were all liberal Democrats!
    or
    2) The South were the victims and feel the need to defend them against "misconceptions."

You might want to see how long Vietnam was and who started it....I'll give you that Bush was in office when the Afgan campaign started, but it was voted on and supported by the majority of Dems, and then Obama doubled down calling it the war of necessity....not to mention started additional military campaigns in the Middle East, and Arab world

But they put up a damn good fight and it changed how wars would be fought from then on.

    The skirmish line.

It depends upon what's getting turned over. When to be the dove, and when to be the hawk is not an easy line to draw, but I think Trump is drawing it about as well as anyone. In this case, one of the hawks had to go. Tomorrow, it might be one of the doves.

The most powerful entity on the planet, the White House, should not be run like a poor remake of “the apprentice”

Iraq was never voted on, that is fake news, what was voted on was to let Bush the decider decide, they did that so he could leave the war option on the table when negotiating with Iraq, what they did not expect was that Bush would go to war anyways after Inspectors said there was no WMD - Bush could not even wait for inspectors to get it, he had to order them out

Afghanistan should have just been a quick retaliatory strike, not a 10+ year war

imagine if a dozen Americans did that to say Russia and Russia attacked us for 10+ years... would we ever want peace

If only if Nat Turner hadn't gone on a raping and murder spree in 1831, America would have brought an end of slavery in 1833 when Great Britain ended slavery.

Not so funny how the actions of a few can change history.

Lets see, the Clinton administration White House had a cocaine den for the White House staff.

The Obama White House had a watermelon patch and had to order an additional dumpsty dumpster for Michelle and Valerie's empty wine bottles.

Less funny how people can project complete nonsense like this to claim that people aren't accountable for their own actions if they are "triggered."

do not know much about that history, but from a quick read it seems he went crazy after his wife was gang raped by white men, and he was beaten by a slave owner - but regardless that does not justify his actions nor the continuation of slavery

I'd ask for sources, but there's probably nothing but chain emails from kooks.
