I guess a couple hundred or a few thousand could br called "many," but it's a very small percentage. Furthermore, I think labels are becoming useless descriptors of the general population. I think a good sized percentage of "democrats" disagree with impeachment, and many Trump voters previously voted for Obama. I think a lot of people vote for their interests, and the dem candidates currently have a platform that is insane to the average voter.

 

They're conservative in the sense that they want establishment politicians who care nothing about the will of the people to stay in power.

 

What a long impeachment given it started before trump took office!

Working nonstop for 3 years while knowing the gop held senate would not use it to remove him from office!

Yes, many conservatives of this type are perfectly fine with free trade agreements that screw over American workers and they are fine with cheap labor coming in illegally or through H1-B and similar programs. And I'm sure some of them are in support of endless wars as well.

I want to understand both sides, look at the available evidence and be skeptical of news reports.

This is off topic, but if you look at the sources, and people quoted in this article, you'll see that they're not credible. The Penn Biden Center says "This is unheard of" because of course they're gonna say that. It's the Penn Biden Center, ha ha. You definitely have an agenda.

 

There are a plethora of resources being used. Foreign Policy is one of the most respected publications globally, but I do use various sources. You are jumping to conclusions.

Republicans were also quoted too, and many other officials.

Well they've been trying to kick Trump out ever since the election, so I guess one good turn deserves another. Should a Democrat be elected the next time around, (heaven forbid), then they should expect the same.

I think the real reason though for this show-go-round by Palosi and Schiff, is to get rid of Trump so they can save their own necks from jail.

The choice you gave was yes/no, so which one is it yes or no?

 

If you read towards the beginning of the thread I explain that. I do not care about the % who say yes or no, just the level of certainty which is represented by yes + no, and unsure, with maybe/unsure.

 

Don't you know the best defensive is an offensive. The Democrats are trying to cover up their own criminality by accusing Trump of something that never happened. But look, they're desperate. They want to stay out of jail.

 

Is it possible both Democrats and Republicans involved are guilty of illegal and unethical acts? What if it is both Biden and Trump?

 

Doesn't look that way to me. Even though the biased article tries to spin it, it is clear that Trump had reservations in 2017 about sending them the missiles and it has nothing to do with Biden or the 2016 election. That, negates the narrative of Trump holding up the aid in order to investigate Biden or for any BS bribery.

 

GOP doesn't play dirty politics the way the DNC does. Or at least they don't go as low.
