Events are moving too fast for me to keep up with

I can only hope this leads to $5 bil for the wall or a government shutdown

 

Wonder if he’ll go on his Mar-A-Logo Christmas trip while the government is shutdown? My money is on yes.

 

Apparently he had some members of the Freedom Caucus over for a noon time meeting and of course they are telling him to veto any bill to continue funding the government, even if it's just a CR until February. With Trump, he's weak so he usually listens to the last person that tells him what to do - so I expect ole Mitch to be giving him a call at about the same time the bill is put on his desk for signing......

The reality and optics of a veto right now are bad, really bad for Trump......and Mitch will tell him so.

 

Trump will be committing political suicide if he gets nothing for the wall

 

It’ll be worse if he proves he can’t make a deal. Didn’t he write a book on that?

 

I think democrats have proven they dont want to make a deal

And spineless republican swamp creatures in congress are caught in the middle

They just want to take the easiest way out whatever that is

But if he does he is finished politically

He could keep his base and it wouldn’t be enough. Independents won’t be fooled again.

 

If so then why not roll the dice and go for broke?

He didn't write any book. The 'Art of The Deal' was written by someone else who has said that Trump isn't what he says he is, and he has already shown that he knows nothing about negotiation. He knows how to threaten and denigrate which serves to separate.
