The Navy Federal Credit Union is extending interest-free credit to any of their 8 million members who miss paychecks -- in the net amount of their usual federal paychecks on the day of their paychecks -- for the duration. When it's over and the lump sum comes in the Navy Federal Credit Union automatically deducts what is owed them.

How dare some damn credit union help Trump?

It's terrible, poor federal workers are going to suffer terribly, terribly, terribly.

There is no end in sight for the horrible suffering -- just like the Schumer Amnesty Shutdown last January.

    Yes

Trump will not sign the spending bill without funding for the wall

Is that too difficult for dems to understand?

Oh NOW Democrats all of a sudden become fiscal conservatives! I never saw a bill the Dems did NOT want to fund, but since the wall bill would reduce the number of future Democratic voters streaming across our porous border unchecked, NOW they all of a sudden want to stop spending on it.

"Read my lips, no new taxes!"
What Bush Sr. ACTUALLY meant was "read my lips, KNOW new taxes!" :)

Nope just wanted you to clarify your stance. You were trying to blame the shutdown on dems a little bit ago.

Thought you would appreciate fiscal responsibility in Washington. Someone has to, or we’re sunk.

Notice the dems will say they are for "border security", but never, specifically say "we want to reduce the number of illegal aliens who enter the country"! "Border security" is leftist CODE for "let's keep the status quo, let's keep the future Democratic voters streaming across the border like they've always done!"

Which is indeed where it belongs - all the Dems have to do is approve of more border security and then the gov't won't shut down.

Just because generals from our war dept. want to stay in a nation, that we have no business being in does not make it the intelligent nor right thing to do. I agree with Trump on this, as well as people like the Paul's, as well as so many other non neocons. This is neocon foreign policy that took us into syria. We wanted assad gone. When it was none of our business, as he was not running terrorist attacks on the US, no more than Hussein from Iraq was involved in terrorist attacks against the US.

If we are concerned about ISIS getting back their losses in syria, then we should help assad, giving him intel on ISIS and let him and his allies kill them out. This isn't about anything but neocons wanting a perpetual military presence in syria, and to hell with sovereignty of Syria!

PNAC has to be taken into context here, and if one does not, there will never be an accurate understanding of the reality of syria and PNAC. I cannot simply ignore PNAC and how its goals have been driving our foreign policy since Bush Jr, and trump is not following that neocon herd. Makes him a patriot IMO. Someone that puts our actual interests first, and it isn't perpetual war for perpetual peace and US 21st century hegemony. China is a potential huge threat, not syria or the middle east.

Hehe, just like Trump is being fiscally responsible by bringing troops home from Syria and Afghanistan. Leftists, and even fiscal conservatives like Graham, don't seem to really appreciate that aspect of it. :)

Is a wall "immoral", Dave, or did Chuck and Nancy get that part of it all wrong?

They aren’t being asked approving more border security. They’re being asked to fund a money pit of a wall. If Trump was smart he would have negotiated down to 2.5B and proven his claims about time and cost for building the wall are accurate, but that would be if he knew how to make deals. As it stands his crossing his arms and stamping his feat. He’s a child and he has claimed ownership of his behavior. Not sound logic behind pushing it on someone else.
