And in the Usa those decisions are governed by the laws that politicians write. Do you disagree that their should be a concrete answer on what constitutes deformities that would exempt those cases from the 2002 bill?
Yes and those legal bounds pertaining to infant deformities are a grey area. Politicians need to address it so that medical professionals are complying with the 2002 law.
Quote the post where I said that you said doctors should be exempt....... I inferred that you had a sense that doctors were infallible based on your posts.
Kermit Gosnell SHOULD not have been practicing and was a complete and perfect example of why abortion MUST stay legal. Gosnell had no oversight - just as would happen if he were operating illegally - which for all intents and purposes he was; Make abortion illegal and you will have dozens of Gosnells operating in every large city - mostly NOT medical staff and mostly funded and under the thumb of organised crime
And one of the biggest serial killers of all time was a medical officer working in London This gets me a SO??? She was probably suffering from a mental health disorder known as “Munchausen by proxy”. IT happens but colleagues should be vigilant enough to pick up on it
Exactly Now Colonel K provided an excellent link that shows some reality of this https://www.michiganadvance.com/blo...lvers-tweets-on-trumps-abortion-lie-go-viral/ This happens NOW IT happens daily in the bigger centres hourly, minutely world wide. The entire medical field is geared towards saving lives it is actually much much much harder to stand by and do nothing
It was to illustrate that doctors aren’t infallible and was a rebuttal to Fox’s statements: “The limits should be set by DOCTORS NOT politicians.” “You think lawmakers are saints !!???? WHAT!!!! What a amazing thing to think!!! THEY have a stake in it politically, doctors don't...OMGAWD , just what an amazing thing to think!!!” “But then you think a politician is a "go-to" for fetal deformity.....and for car repair go to a grocery store” Politicians write the laws that govern all of us including doctors. Of course they should consult with experts in the fields they wish to govern and I’ve not said otherwise. At the end of the day what governs us is purely in politicians purview
But is that a decision that is legally the doctors to make presently specifically in cases of failed abortions is the issue.
No The reason is that it is far far far too complex to boil down to a couple of sentences. The ONLY people who can make that determination are the people directly involved. Sometimes that leads to situations like “Baby K” Stephanie Keene who was born anencephalic but due to her mothers insistence that everything be done to the fullest extent of medical science she “lived” for more than 2 years. The case I linked to earlier where the baby’s body was so twisted and abnormal that most of the intestines were outside the body - that baby was kept “alive” for 84 days, had numerous surgeries and died anyway.
Well you'd be wrong. My own daughter has had two unwanted pregnancies, and you know why? Because she was being irresponsible. 100% her fault. She did not abort them but now she has 2 babies daddy. Her mother my ex same way. I have custody of my two but after me she had four more pregnancies that I know of. 2 aborted and 2 she left at the hospital and never went back. Do I really need to go through all of the women I know of? No I don't. You want their names and address also. I've experienced many things in life and that is how I form My opinions. If you had seen all that I have about many things you would understand if your an honest person.
Judgemental post I do not know what measure you are using for sympathy but it is not one I would use And you are male YEP! I figured as much My experience on this board is that it is often the males who are quickest to condemn know least about reproduction and think nothing of having multiple sexual partners whilst leaving the contraception to that partner and then condemning them for aborting
If it's already a law wha'st the problem? Why should special attention be paid to one segment of society IN CASE they MIGHT break the law??? That's ridiculous and probably unconstitutional.
What you and the women in your life experienced has NOTHING to do with women's right to their own bodies and decision making on their terminally ill child. BTW, you don't sound sympathetic at all....even to your own daughter.
Uh, DUH, it's a lot more complicated than tax laws which are written in black and white . How a fetus develops, especially those with problems, is different in all cases...it is not a dollar bill that will always be exactly the same..
No, it's the woman who gave birth with advice/consultation/facts from a doctor, the EXPERT (which YOU and politicians , aren't).
You are finally correct. Bills are written by politicians in consultation with experts....who are NOT you.
