Fat chance that Pelosi would ever consider impeaching Harris. If Harris would become POTUS for any reason she would nominate a VP.

 

Ashli Babbit is a terrorist.

If she or the crowd were Muslims, the right would be singing a different tune.

 

Harris needs congressional approval on any candidate she might choose. And Pelosi has made her claim several times that she is 2nd in line.

Both. Stupid that day. And please prove she was violently trying to overturn an election? She was trespassing because she was allowed and was mostly peaceful of course. Didn’t attack anyone. Wanted to take some photos. If she wanted to hurt anyone she would have attacked the cops right next to her.

 

There is nothing peaceful about overturning an election.

She was there illegally, she tried to cross a barricade to get to the House of Representatives and got shot.

There was an investigation and the police officer was exonerated.

And finally, Babbit died because she believed Trump's lies.

So what??? If you are predisposed to something and the event put you over the edge, the fact that you hadn't killed yourself before the event pretty much proves it was the event...

Nobody is arguing those that committed suicide didn't possibly have some underlying issues... But you seem to be arguing that the event CANNOT have been the primary mitigating factor in their suicides, which sounds completely bonkers to me...

Also, looks like we have our first Capitol Police indictment for supporting a rioter.... I suspect it won't be the last...

No, the whole point is that the event wasn't the driving cause. To blame the deaths on the event completely side steps any understanding of how a mindset builds in person who has underlying issues. Lets use an example. Someone has terminal cancer, and catches a flu. The body finally says I've had enough, and shuts down. Are trying to say that the flu killed him, or was it the culmination that killed him?

Of course there were Capitol Police whose butts are going to be in the grinder. The whole thing was a **** show of massive proportions.

Terminal means you WILL die.... it doesn't really matter what the final health cause is.... None of those officers was reportedly in any imminent danger of dying, via suicide or otherwise..

I did make a mistake in my first paragraph though... While there is no proof the event was the cause of their suicides, to rule it out a possibility is just not possible either...

 

Suicide is not normally an one minute idea. It builds over time - that is the comparison. If someone was already having suicidal thoughts, Jan 6 could have been like the flu - just the final thing in a long train going down hill.

 

Well, under the law, were the officers in question justified in using lethal force? That's the only pertinent question here.

 

Since the officer was exonerated after an investigation, doesn't that suggest the answer to your question is yes?
