Who's National Security is Trump a threat to (not US National Security). 23 Members of the NATO have been neglecting their own National Security for years, how it that Trump's fault and what does Russia have to do with this?

 

First of all, North Atlantic Treaty been signed not after WWII, but four years later, in 1949, and never aimed at preserving peace.

Unlike it, the United Nations indeed have been established right after the end of the Second World War, and indeed are created for preservation of peace on the globe and prevention of armed hostilities among countries, along with solving global problems, such as hunger.

NATO did nothing to preserve peace, I remind you, and - much like USSR it was during Cold War - and, despite Cold War's end, still is - an organisation that exists for sake of consalidation of power, in this case of the USA, projection of it on other NATO members - such as demands of higher defence spendings and amassing of army - and already once bringed world on the brink of total atomic annihilation in 1962.

We pay the biggest share of NATO. We pay the biggest share of the U.N. the list of items like that is endless. Many countries pay little or nothing.

That 3% is not for NATO security. That is for raging utterly pointless wars against 3rd world countries in the middle east and provoking China by cruising up and down their military positions.

 

I don't even understand why the US bothers to be a member of NATO. I guess it just had an empty hand looking for some dead-weight to carry around. Greenland isn't on the hook and neither is North Africa. There is no such thing as a SATO, or a NPTO, or a SPTO. NATO needs to be torn down like the Berlin wall, it's out dated, it does not run to the aid of other members, and Turkey isn't even on the North Atlantic.

United Nations is a thing that stops hegemons from inflicting an era of neo-colonialism at the world.

It is organisation that keeps world civil, that let's it progress - and not just so called "first world", but WHOLE world. WHOLE humanity.
