Ya when it aint snow'n! Still 34 degree at night! Tonights low is 37. No gardening this year that's a fact! As we sit right now, we have around 90 days until first hard frost.. That's why I spend so much time in the bay area, and Medford! Lazy this year, rough start, so I paid some hippies to do my fire breaks in Oregon, so I might spend a month in Cali in September, unless I draw Elk or antelope..

 

I live in the Willamette Valley sort of in between Portland and Salem. Wine country. We get some cold temps in winter, but mostly mild temps throughout the year. Holy crap - still 34 at night where you live!

 

Yes sir Snowed 3 days last week! In fact, there is a lake close here called Soda and opens mothers day weekend and I bet this year it's still snowed in! To bad to, you can literally catch 5-8 pound brown and rainbow trout all day long with "Honestly" a shiny hook.. It might be passable middle of June, maybe!

 

Dang! I'd love to do that! Btw, I've caught crappies on a bare hook on the Snake. Sometimes they'll just hit anything that moves.
