The Snake also runs into Wyoming or starts there. When I get to Idaho, I will be very close to it. I believe it is the river through Hells Canyon where there are enormous Sturgeon there. Dumps into the Pacific ocean eventually.

I sold a 10 acre parcel with a 2300 sq ft 2 story home not far from Susanville and on the flight to Susanville saw Soda Lake. i thought it is alkaline and expected it no have fish. My client loves his place since he can fish at Eagle Lake easily.

That is pretty country. I do not believe here in the Bay Area we had any freezes this year. We jad rains that set records for May since 20 years ago. My son says where he loves a few miles from Boise,Id the weather has been mild. When I drive to his home, I will drive to Winnemucca and north into Oregon and cut over to the Boise Area. 654 miles per google map.

Are you seriously concerned about money spent on presidents or is this just another "orange man bad" post? What if Trump lost 6 billion dollars, as in couldn't account for it, gone to nobody knows where? Would that concern you? What if he wanted to spend 500 million on an edifice that is focused on just his presidency? Would that concern you? What if a Democrat lost 6 billion dollars, as in gone, can't be found, don't know where it went? Would you be concerned about that? What if a Democrat spent 500 million dollars (half a trillion) on a library designed to edify his time as president? Would you be incensed or would you just rationalize it?

The State Department ran by Clinton from an OIG report:
    SUBJECT:

"Management Alert (Contract File Management Deficiencies)

The Office ofInspector General (OIG), in recent audits, investigations, and inspections, has identified significant vulnerabilities in the management of contract file documentation that could expose the Department to substantial financial losses. Specifically, over the past 6 years, OIG has identified Department of State (Department) contracts with a total value of more than $6 billion in which contract files were incomplete or could not be located at all. The failure to maintain contract files adequately creates significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the Department's contract actions.
This Management Alert is intended to alert senior Department management to the serious nature ofthe issue and provides recommendations to assist in eliminating or mitigating those vulnerabilities.
"In sum, over the past 6 years, our audit work has uncovered significant contract file management deficiencies in Department contracts/task orders with a total value of more than $6 billion.""

"In another investigation, OIG found that a CO falsified Government technical review information and provided the contractor with contract pricing information. The related contract file was not properly maintained and for a period oftime was hidden by the CO. This contract was valued at $100 million. In a third investigation, OIG found that a COR allowed the payment of$792, 782 to a contractor even though the contract file did not contain documents to support the payment. Furthermore, an additional OIG investigation revealed that the contract file was missing a COR appointment letter required by FAR 1.602-2 (d)."

State Dept. misplaced $6B under Hillary Clinton: IG report
"The State Department misplaced and lost some $6 billion due to the improper filing of contracts during the past six years, mainly during the tenure of former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, according to a newly released Inspector General report.

The $6 billion in unaccounted funds poses a “significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the Department’s contract actions,” according to the report.

The alert, originally sent on March 20 and just released this week, warns that the missing contracting funds “could expose the department to substantial financial losses.”

The report centered on State Department contracts worth “more than $6 billion in which contract files were incomplete or could not be located at all,” according to the alert.

“The failure to maintain contract files adequately creates significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the Department’s contract actions,” the alert states."

    Obama's library:

"Former President Barack Obama may need some additional cash flow to get the Obama Presidential Center built in Chicago, according to a report.

The architects said the center needs an endowment of $1.5 billion, three times more than the amount raised for George W. Bush's presidential center that opened in Dallas in 2013, Page Six's Richard Johnson reports.

They attributed the high cost to the construction of both a library and museum. The architects said the expected $200 million cost of the buildings themselves likely will be closer to $300 million."

It was not Soda Lake but Honey Lake. I guess Butterballs is really in Wyoming and I do not know his area. I know the area around Yellowstone east to Cody and South East to Casper.

Are you happy with, or is the source of your bitterness,
"Australia's shock election results are drawing comparisons to Trump's 2016 win"
    • Scott Morrison, Australia's conservative prime minister, pulled off a shocking win in Australia's national election Saturday.
    • The victory defied scores of polls and drew marked similarities to the rise of populist support for fiery conservative candidates across the world.
    • Reports said support for the conservative came from outer suburban seats with demographics similar to America's rural rust belt.

Let's be real here. The trumpers were just upset that a black man was allowed to step foot on a golf course.

Damn! That must be tough living there knowing the history of the brits, Australia, and the Aboriginals then and TODAY :) Then again I don't know how much corruption might be associated with extermination, forced sterilization and child separation/relocation of indigenous people in order to breed them out!

I think corruption might be something mild in comparison to the horrors that take place in Australia.

Well at least we were civilized enough to just be upset! Unlike some who floated in and then restricted the "Indigenous" of their own continent and took sport in hunting them like rodents!

Derail what, whats you concern with U.S. spending to start with? None of it effect you in the slightest personally or your country or neighbors! This IMHO is nothing but a troll thread meant to incite and inflame Americans, ALL Americans for the simple fact it doesn't concern you monetarily, politically or personally!

BTW PF does provide a international forum for folks that want to discuss other countries, why not use it? Or are you purposely fishing U.S. waters for reaction!

Even has your countries NAME ON IT!

Clearly wants to get involved in a more meaningful way. Maybe someone should remind her/him we leave the southern border open year round 24/7 so if citizenship is something they might enjoy then come bearing a child wade across a shallow river and run out to a bush and give birth and TADA dual citizenship!

Actually, that is a very ignorant comment based on,
Trump insisted on including Jews, blacks at Palm Beach golf course in 1990s.
In December 1997, Trump filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In his suit Trump accused the town of discriminating against Mar-a-Lago for allowing black and Jewish members, groups not typically welcome in the area's other clubs
