Kinda why this stuff needs to be challenged rather than believe on face value just because WaPo or CNN says so, which you are expecting us to do. We still don't know who said what or what the complaint says or who filed it, when it was filed. All we know is someone said something, period.

"We" know that a Trump appointed lawyer says the complaint is "urgent" and "credible".

"We" know it was filed on 8/12/2019 and forwarded to the ACTING DNI on 8/26....

"We" know that same IG thought enough of the complaint and the process to notify the head of the House Intel committee on 9/9 to let him know his committee was illegally being denied access to the complaint"

    These are absolute facts...

There's a lot we do not know, but I also know we will get nothing of fact from Donald J. Trump on this topic.

You are correct and I did miss that step. Thanks for the correction

My point is the same as yours. Why is an unconfirmed cabinet member allowed to withhold this complaint, when the law clearly states that they must turn it over to congress ? Why do we have laws if an administration can just say “nope” when confronted with legally binding requests ? Why can ANY administration just say “nope” when served a subpoena ?

But the overreaching point of all of this, and the leaks are pretty specific now, if the president actually did what is being reported to have done, the right wing in this country will show their hand. They will support Trump, or they will be Americans and actually do something to the man who is using taxpayer money to bribe a foreign country to help him win an election. But we all know that Trump would never ask a foreign nation for help in an election....wink wink...nudge nudge...

If this is true, America truely is at a crossroad. IF its true and the right wing in this country doesn't hold him accountable for it, then this country is doomed.

How did the "intelligence community" member find out what Trump said? If the CIA/NSA is spying on a sitting President and is allowed to get away with it, our country is more doomed than you think.

Not really that concerned. Much of it has been proven out, and we don’t know what part of it was sued to get the FISA warrant. But you always leave that out, as well as the part that it was a FISA warrant, so it ONLY allowed them to listen to conversation with foreign nationals. pssst.. it was originally paid for by the RNC ;)

And yes, its “uncorroborated” by the media, but the IG did say it was a valid “credible” and “urgent”. So then you can easily explain why an unconfirmed, politically appointed DNI is breaking the law by withholding it from congress ? THAT is the problem here ;)

    Please stop watching Fox News.

FFS, for the last time. EVERY call is screened for EVERY person in the executive branch, as well as the diplomatic core by representatives of the IG if they are speaking with anyone outside of the United States.. ITS A LAW!

Can you think of any reason why this whistleblower should not testify before the House and or Senate intel committees? I sure can not. If what he alleges is true, shouldn’t it be looked into?

If the admin will not release his complaint, I think that's what needs to happen.

I hate for this person's anonymity to be destroyed that way, since it's not part of the whistleblower process, but I see no other option...

It doesn't really matter what Trump says. You are missing the point. Day in and day out the U.S media is exposed as biased, corrupt and self-serving. A propaganda tool of one party.

The President's conversations with foreign leaders would be classified..................

The "whistle blower" should spend all 10 in Leavenworth.

To what end is the U.S. media serving itself by pointing out Trump’s lies and alleged misdeeds? A self serving entity it seems to me would not intentionally alienate almost half of their potential readers or watchers by treating their favorite candidates unfairly. See what I mean?

They got their aid and there was no quid pro quo offered or taken. Now let's get on the investigation and them means cooperation from Ukraine or else we may without aid for refusing. There are serious criminal allegations here and an admittance by Biden he interfered in their politics and then his son benefitted. That's probable cause.
