Where’s the constitution say a vote is needed before the investigation?

Even never-Trumper John Kasich says the impeachment farce is a joke, he said nobody in OH is talking about it, and you don't impeach a POTUS over a phone call.

The LW is saying Trump is asking for a phony investigation into a political rival for political reasons, that is exactly what the Deep State did to Trump with the Russia hoax.

And yet Trump is currently facing an unprecedented percentage of Americans who want him impeached.

John Kasich's comment from a week ago notwithstanding.

Ah, taunting the party that just started an impeachment inquiry and whose inquiry is supported by a majority of Americans.

It's a bold move Cotton! Let's see how it works for them!

They wanted impeachment from the day Trump was elected, why don't they just impeach the electorate? As Rep. Green said, they needed to impeach because otherwise Trump might win, in other words, democracy might happen.

Trump deserved impeachment from before he took the oath of office.

But no, the impeachment inquiry started less than two weeks ago and since then, support for impeachment saw a dramatic uptick to a level which is higher than at any point than it was for Clinton and higher than at a similar point was for Nixon.

Technically there does not have to be a full House vote, Read your constitution. The reason they are not impeaching can only be 2 reasons, they have nothing or they have no balls, considering the impeachment standards are so broad it more than likely the latter.

    There's a third option.

Nancy Pelosi is an intelligent political operative who is managing a Democratic caucus that is made up of both people incredibly gun-ho to impeach and people who are reluctant to impeach. So she announced an official inquiry to start the investigation and thus forcing the White House hand into releasing the transcript and the whistleblower complaint as well as start a whole host of interviews and subpoenas, but also allowed an easy off-ramp if those pieces of evidence presented a weak case or the American people revolted. Add to those the fact that Congress is about to go on recess and members would be traveling across the country and have a chance to hear from their constituents.

Everything so far suggests that impeachment is coming. So don't get your panties in a bunch.

CNN asks the question 'if' so as this goes on, that 'if' may become irrelevant seeing how information comes out in dribs and drabs, the democrat propaganda machine notwithstanding. It is also CNN so...

Haven't you heard? We aren't a democracy. No one is more insistent about that fact than Trumpists are. As far as "needed to impeach because otherwise Trump might win" goes . . . there's an order of operations problem there.

Regardless, impeachment is legal. It is a Constitutional process. Trumpists need to get used to that fact. I don't think Trump will actually be removed from office, but he may well be impeached by the House. People need to stop throwing around frankly dangerous accusations like "treason" and "coup" to describe a perfectly legal process.

You are comparing an apple to an orangutan.

Impeachment Inquiry and NOT THE SAME as Impeachment, but you seem to purposely keep mixing the too as does our Mainstream Media in an attempt to push a false narrative.

I am 100% for the Impeachment Inquiry. It will destroy the Democrats. I am not for Impeachment.

There is a huge difference. You are being duplicitous.

Did you read the OP? Did you see where CNN explicitly discusses both support/disapproval of the impeachment and support/disapproval of the impeachment inquiry? Here, let me help you READ IT AGAIN:

    IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY:
    IMPEACHMENT:
Holy ****!?! There's a whole 5 point difference in the support for the inquiry and support for the impeachment and a whopping 1% difference between disapproval of the inquiry and disapproval of the impeachment.

    Now shove your duplicitous accusation.

Sure. Why not. He’s mean, has a bad tan, calls people names and beat Hillary and embarrassed the MSM. Thats reason to impeach:)

Aiding the president or just aiding the country overall considering the VP at the time was conducting some rather corrupt practices? If Trumps kids suddenly ended up on the boards of some foreign corporations we work with and he admitted to holding up aid until they stopped investigating some shady business practices wouldn’t it be in the best interest of EVERYONE?

And STILL no proof that aid was being held specifically because they wouldn’t do Trump a favor and the leader being supposedly blackmailed admitted he felt no pressure from anyone?

Another case of Trump being really bad at the genius actions Democrats keep accusing him of. Working for Russia yet not doing anything that benefits them. Being a racist yet hasn't done anything that has hurt black people. And committing quid pro quo without actually getting anything or receiving anything.

Weird. All these accusation just keep coming up empty.
